Chapter 18: Flamingo Man

(Your pov)

I finished my meal five minutes ago and right now I'm taking a walk. People avoided me after I defeated Bellamy, not even his crewmates can mess with me.

"Well, if it ain't the woman who beat the man with 55 million bellies. Quite a show you performed." I froze at the voice behind me and I recognized it immediately. I turned my head and see the pirate himself, Blackbeard.

"You are?" I asked, even though I knew his name. "Zehahahaha, call me Teach, miss. I saw what happened, you're pretty strong for a woman." Teach said laughing. "They needed to be taught a lesson for messing with my friends. One wrong move and they're done." I said narrowing my eyes. "Is that so? Zehahahahaha! I like ya, woman! What's your name?" He asked.

"(Y/n)." I answered. "(Y/n), you're an interesting one. I'm looking for people to join my crew. How about you join me? Together, we will be unstoppable!" Teach offered. "I'll pass." I said without hesitation. "And why is that?" He asked losing his grin. "I have many reasons and won't tell you what they are, Teach." I said turning my body towards him.

Both of us are having a stare down, making the atmosphere tense. After a minute, Teach grinned and laughed. "Zehahahahahaha, very well then! If you change your mind, come find me! I really hope to see you again, (Y/n)-chan!" I gave a disgusted look when he added the "-chan" in it. But I remained back to my neutral face.He started to walk pass me, not until I left him a small scare.

"I know what you did." I said.

(Blackbeard's pov)

My eyes widen and felt shivers down my spine. I turned and saw some familiar eyes, I blinked and she had already walked away.

'Wh-What was that?! I thought I saw those eyes again after I killed Thatch! I must be imagining things!' I thought. I shook my head and kept walking.

'That woman. I have to be wary of her.'

(Timeskip)

(2nd pov)

You sat on top of a building with a bottle of wine that you stole. After meeting Blackbeard, you may have punched a guy in the face just to let out some steam. Seeing him made your blood boil a bit, but you held back.

You took a sip of the wine and chugged it. You then hear laughter. You looked down and saw Bellamy and his crew dragging a bag of gold. You sighed and shook your head as you finished the stolen bottle of wine.

"That old man and crew are so weak!"

"They didn't put up much of a fight!"

"All this for a bag of gold!"

"Cricket and his fantasy of this Sky Island. Like hell it exists. And that Straw Hat and his stupid dream of finding One Piece. The Pirate Era has ended and yet he still believes it. If he ever comes back, I'll beat him to submission and he'll learn." Bellamy said with a grin.

An empty wine bottle was thrown at Bellamy's feet and shattered on the ground which cause him and his crew to stop.

"And that's gonna be your first and biggest mistake." You said. Bellamy and crew turned to look at you. The crew shivered in fear while Bellamy just glared at you.

"It really doesn't matter if Sky Island exists or not. You should listen to others than believing everything around you is nothing but a lie. It's pretty pathetic." You said narrowing your eyes at him. "Oh yeah, what do you know woman?" Bellamy asked.

"I know that you're not the real boss of your crew, nor does that Sarquiss guy. If I'm correct, this boss of yours is way over your league." You said as Bellamy is started to sweat nervously. "I bet you idolize that guy. Is he a pirate too? What would he think if he finds out?" You said as a sadistic smile formed on your face. Bellamy froze at that and started shivering but shook his head and glared at you.
