Chapter 11: (Y/n) vs Ms. April Fools

(Smoker's pov)

I was on my way to the Sand Café with Tashigi, I heard a scream. Me and Tashigi looked at each other and ran to that direction. As we got there, a man was crawling out, looking terrified.

'Wait, that face...he's a wanted criminal.' I thought. He turned and looked in our direction. "H-Help me....She's gonna-" He was cut off when a tendril came and wrapped around his leg and he was dragged back to where he crawled from.

"AAAAAAAHH!! I'M SORRY!! PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!! SOMEONE, HELP M-" My eyes widen at that and so did Tashigi. We ran to where that man was dragged and what we saw was a mess.

(WARNING!! BLOOD AND VIOLENCE!!)

All men scattered, all bruised up, and covered in cuts and stab wounds that looked deep. A head rolled down to my feet which surprised me. It was that man's head. Tashigi covered her mouth in shock. "Sorry you have to see that."

We looked up and saw the woman back in Loguetown. Her hands, face, even her clothes are covered in blood that I can barely recognize her. She's even carrying that man's body.

"This guy and his goons tried to get into my pants while I was minding my own business. Too bad they never got their chance to get laid." She said with a smirk. She threw the headless body on the ground and pulled out a bounty.

"This dude's name is Grechen, his bounty is 10,000,000 bellies." She said as she threw the bounty on the headless corpse. "You're a bounty hunter?" Tashigi asked her warily. She shook her head. "I'm not. I'm just some traveler." She answered.

"But, you just killed a wanted person. Are you sure you aren't one?" I asked her. She looked at me and I blushed a little. "I'm sure." She said. "By the way, I'm (Y/n). And you guys are?" She introduced. "Oh, my name is Tashigi." Tashigi said. "Smoker." I introduced myself.

"So, you're the marines that's been chasing Luffy and the others. I mean it's not surprising when I saw you chasing Luffy while I was being carried." (Y/n) said. Her saying that got me thinking. 'She said his name like they knew each other ever since.'

"You know that Straw Hat?" I asked and she nodded. "Yeah, he's a friend. He doesn't seem that bad." (Y/n) said. I narrowed my eyes. "He's a pirate, you shouldn't be near him. Pirates like him bring bad luck." I told her.

"I know that he's a pirate. Sure, pirates bring bad luck to people, but what makes you think he's the same?" (Y/n) said to him. "What do you mean?" I questioned.

"You notice that Princess Vivi is with them, right? What do you think about that?" She said crossing her arms. I nodded. "The way she acted, she seems like she was one of them." I said. "Do you know why, (Y/n)-san?" Tashigi asked.

(Y/n) smiled at us which made me blush. "I do, but I can't tell you. I will give you this; Princess Vivi is with the Straw Hats for a reason. A good reason." She told us. "A good reason?" Tashigi said in confusion. (Y/n) nodded. I cross my arms in thought. 'A good reason. Straw Hat did mention about Crocodile and Vivi is with them. Does this have to do with this kingdom?' I thought.

I snapped out of my thoughts when Tashigi shouted. "(Y/n)-san, where are you going?!" I saw (Y/n) walking away from us. "I'm heading to the palace next. I need to go there before it happens. See you later, you two." She said waving.

I looked at her confused. 'Before it happens? What is she talking about? What happens?' I thought. I was going to ask her but she suddenly disappeared which shocked us.

"Was that.....her devil fruit power?" Tashigi asked. I wanted to say that too but I shook my head. "I don't think that was her devil fruit power." I said which Tashigi to look at me in confusion. 'I saw her running through the ocean back in Loguetown. It can't be that.' I thought.
