Prompt: Grab the book closest to you. Turn to page 47, read the 8th sentence, and figure out a realistic way for Janus to say that sentence.

Thank you @sanderssides_prompts (Instagram) for the prompt

Sentence: But one thing was clear: My future terrified him.

3rd POV

Janus and Remus were cuddling in Remus' bed. Janus leaning on the back of the bed and Remus was sitting in between his legs, leaning back on his boyfriend. Janus had taken his gloves off and was now playing with Remus' hair.

"Hey Jan?"

"Yeah?"

"Why did Virgil leave?" Remus did know the Emo and they did hang out when Virge was still a 'dark side' , as Roman called them, it's not as if Re never met him. He just never found out why the anxious side decided to leave. All the trash man knew was that something had happened between Virgil and Janus and the next day, his friend was gone.

"I've already told you Remus, we had a fight and I said some things I now regret. There's nothing more to tell."

"You're lying" Though Remus was disgusting and he ate deoderant, he wasn't an idiot. He'd spent enough time with Janus to know when his boyfriend was lying. And a fight could not have been the only reason for the emo to leave, Virge had had many other fights with both Re and Jan, yet for some reason he stayed until that one fight with Janus? Remus didn't think so. "Please Jan, tell me. What could be so bad that you can't even tell your boyfriend?"

Janus sighed "Fine, I-I'll tell you." He took a deep breath before starting, "You told us that you were going to the imagination and left."

"Yeah, I was there"

Janus kissed his head, and continued. "Virgil took a deep breath and told me he had to tell me something"

~~~~flashback~~~~
"Yeah?"
"So, I was walking in Roman's part of the imagination and-"
"What were you doing there?"
"N-none of your business. Anyway, I found a glass orb, kind of like a crystal ball, and I picked it up and it was very cold so I dropped it. When it shattered, a green, smoke-like substance came out of it and- I don't know, It's like as if it chose me? When i took my next breath, I had breathed in the green smoke, and my vision became a bit blurry and everything had a green-ish tint to it. A moment later, I was completely fine."
"Are you okay now?" Deceit said, concerned
"Yeah, I'm fine. But now, whenever I look into someone's eyes for too long, it- like- It's as if I can see their future."
"Woah, that so cool! Can you tell me my future?"
"I don't know... I should probably not."
"Come on, Why not? It's not like anything could go right. It won't be fine."
"I don't know..."
"Please??? It won't be fine. Come on"
"Ok, I guess you're right."
~~~~end flashback~~~~

"What did he see?"

"He never told me. Virge put 2 fingers on my temples, closed his eyes, and concentrated. A few seconds later, he opened them and stumbled away from me. He looked at me as if I were some monster. He was breathing heavily and kept repeating stuff like 'bad' and 'no' under his breath. He sunk out and the next day he wasn't here. I never knew what he saw. But one thing was clear: My future terrified him."

The two sides stayed there in silence, enjoying eachother's company. Both of them were wondering the same thing: 'What did Virgil see?' Eventualy, the two fell asleep.

A/N u don't need to read it.

I'm actually really proud of this one. I was expecting a completely different sentence when I picked up my book, so I'm happy that it was easy enough to make Janus say it in a way that made sense. I also had fun writting the Demus/Dukeceit.

Sorry for wasting your time. Bye :)
