The Historical Society Picnic is today and Damon and Stefan are forcing me to go. I rather just stay home. Katherine is running around town spying on Elena and Stefan and if anyone founds out they are faking it, we are all basically doomed.
Damon dragged me out of bed and I changed into a old red flannel and Jean shorts. I headed to the basement and grabbed myself a blood bag and headed back upstairs where Damon was looking up werewolves on the computer.
"Didn't Stefan tell you to lay off on the Lockwood's? When another full moon comes, you'll die." I said leaning over his shoulder reading all the different articles on werewolves.
"Not if we kill them first."
"You already tried and failed."
"They can't be immortal. There has to be another way to kill him."
"Just forget it. Can't we just be in peace. We have Katherine to worry about, not the Lockwood's." He ignored me, so I yanked him up, "Now lets go, we have to go to the picnic."
We pushed me away from him and left the house, got into his car and headed to the park where the picnic was being held. We got out of the car and I spotted Stefan and headed towards him while Damon went looking for the Sheriff.
"Come with me." Stefan said as I made my way over to him. "We are going to try to make peace with Mason before he kills Damon."
I followed him to Mason. He was standing on a truck lifting kegs. Mason saw us and jumped off the truck and stared me down then shifted his eyes and stared at Stefan.
"You're the other Salvatore? Stefan, right?" Mason asked already knowing the answer.
"The nicer one. " He smirked. "There's Damon, the dick. Me, the nice one, and Sophia, she's... well she's indescribable." I gave him a questioned and offended look, but he ignored it. "Anyways, we are here to offer an apology ."
He stared at us, then turned away. "Yeah, not interested."
"If you and Damon keep going at each other's throats someone innocent is going to get hurt or worse, people will find out all of our secrets. Now, stop trying to be a tough idiot and just accept the apology ." I said very irritated.
"I tried calling a truths with your brother, but he paid it back with a knife through my chest."
"Well, he's an idiot."
Stefan put his hand up to shut me up and I rolled my eyes. "He made a mistake and we are here to apology for him."
"Tell your brother to watch his back." Mason walked off and Stefan and I looked at each other then used vampire speed to block him.
Stefan jumped in front of him and I went behind him and grabbed his arms and yanked them behind his back causing pain in his shoulders. "Well, I'm guessing that he only has to worry about that during a full moon. Otherwise you're not as strong, am I right? Or you would have kill Damon by now. There's one of you. There's three of us. I think you're the one that needs to watch his back." Stefan warned him.
I let go of Mason, "If he comes at me.." He warned Stefan and I.
"He won't." Stefan reached out his hand and Mason shook it and a truths. He walked off and Stefan and I studied him. "Do you think he will really lay off ?"
"I don't know, but he knows what will happen if he doesn't."
A gush of wind hit the back of Stefan's and my neck and Damon popped up behind us. "Look who's lurking now."
"We aren't lurking." I told him.
"We were negotiating peace to save your ass." Stefan further explained.
