"New York?" I quietly gasped.

"Yes, I just fucking said that," Harry says in an irritating tone.

"W-why?" I ask.

"You'll see," was the only answer Harry could give me.

"You can't take me to New York? Did you forget I have school and a whole life back at home? Someone will realize that I'm missing and you'll regret ever doing this," I confidently state. There was no way he could get away with this shit.

"When you were sleeping in the hospital, I had already called your school and told them that you had the flu so that easily gives me a week of your time. I also snatched your phone from your front pocket when you were distracted by my seduction twenty minutes ago." Harry smirks while looking at my embarrassed face.

"I'll be using it to contact your friends, telling them that your sick when really I'm entertaining this little ruse of mine. At the same time, I'll text your brother and tell him that you've decided to stay over at Cassie's for the rest of the week. He already doesn't notice you so he shouldn't be that hard to fucking fool." Harry finished his sentence sniggering.

I was left speechless. He played me and for the life of me, I couldn't understand why. What the hell did I get myself into?

"Why are you doing this?" I squeal.

Harry turns his head and faces me, not caring I looked glum and drained by his words. "You keep asking me questions as if I'll answer them," he says annoyed.

"I don't know what your planning but I want no part in this. Please, just let me go," I cried.

"It's gonna be a long four hours so I suggest you make yourself comfortable," he huffs. He turns the knob on the radio and blasts the music from his stereo to fill the uneasy tension.

Ask I think to myself, I wonder what could possibly be waiting for me when we arrive. Here I was, sitting in the car of a stranger who's clearly insane, driving
me to a foreign land I'm unfamiliar with. If I had suspected even an inkling of his master plot, I would've never accepted his misleading offer. Now, I'm left with no other option but to go along with Harry's sinister plan.

"Wake up."

A familiar voice startles me out of my sleep. I groggily open my eyes and see Harry pulling his keys out of the car. He steps out and opens my door signaling the I get up, but I didn't move. Harry rolls his eyes and violently grabs my arm, pulling me out of his car. I stumble on the ground and catch myself on the curb of the sidewalk.

"Let's go." He whispers while still holding me. He pushes me in front of him as I struggle to use my feet. When I glanced ahead of me, I realized that we were now at our destination. The city was filled with marvelous signs and huge teleprompters that stretched as far as the eye can see. Bright lights were plastered on buildings and restaurants throughout the entire street giving off the impression of its nightlife aesthetic. I appreciate the beauty until Harry tugs my arm. He doesn't stop until we walk a few blocks down a series of dark alleyways. He was smart enough to know that if I came across a stranger, I would beg for help and ask them for assistance.

We finally reach a black door in one of the allies. He uses his keys and unlocks it, throwing the both of us inside. "Go up the stairs," he demands but I shook my head. Harry again pulls me up the steps as I fight his strength.

The stairs were long and tall and we didn't stop until we reached the very top. He pushes another door that leads to a reserved hallway. "Help! Please!" I screamed hoping someone would come and rescue me.
