The line went dead, and I stood there completely frozen to the floor like I couldn't move or flinch at all. I let the phone slip through my right hand, the phone fell to the floor as I stared at the wall with a scared look on my face. I was thinking who called me. The phone call terrified me like it sent shivers down my spine and the hairs on the back of my neck stood on ends.

I stood there in my hotel room in complete silences thinking over who it could be or is it a prank, but it couldn't be a prank right. I didn't know what to think anymore. My mind was spiralling out of control, but I heard a sound of birds twirping in the morning. I turned on my heels of my feet and walked over to the bathroom. My bare feet touched the cold marble flooring in the bathroom, and I turned the cold water tap on and I waited until the water was cold before I drenched my face with ice cold water but when I put my hands over my face I started to think about my parents.

I was stood at the doorway of my parent's bedroom clinging onto my rabbit teddy bear. I was 6 years old; I remember hearing my dad talking to my mum about something and he had a tight grip around my mums left arm. My mum was trying to push my dad off her.

"Get off me Richard." My mum gave my dad a look of frightened and scared.

My dad with a stern look on his face he didn't show any emotion at all and he wasn't moving instead he placed his other free hand on my mum's right arm, he was angry with my mum because he kept mumbling something under his breath as he shook my mum.

"Get off her daddy." I screamed as I ran towards my mum as my dad let go of her, he tried to grab me, but I dodged him and ran towards my mum, I hugged my mum tightly and dug my head into her chest.

"Don't you dare touch me or our daughter ever again." My mum demanded as she wrapped her arms around my little, tiny waist.

"Whatever." My dad said as he stormed off and he slammed the front door behind him as he did that I flinched and winced in my mum's arms as she kept hold of me.

I looked up and I'm in the bathroom in the hotel room and I leave the bathroom and grab my phone and I dial my mum's number still trembling and scared from the phone. But did I want to tell my mum about the call, Matt randomly showing up in the hotel I was staying at which was quite bizarre if you ask me to say the least.

"Amber dear.... are you okay?" My mum answered the phone and I sighed deeply.

"Mum I'm scared and freaking out." I said as my mum tried her best to calm me down, but she wasn't here, and I looked around the room and matt had disappeared, and I fell to the floor beside my bed while talking to my mum on the phone.

"It's okay amber.... everything will be okay don't you worry Amber." My mum said as I felt alone in my room and I hung up the phone to my mum and I placed my head in my hands against my knees.

I couldn't help but fear the worst as I stood in the courtroom waiting on the deliverance of my destiny. I look around the courtroom and I see the juries talking among themselves and then at lawyer Rebecca who was hired by my mum because she was the best of the best lawyers and I didn't think in all my years I would be standing in a courtroom waiting for something to happen either I get sent down for a crime a I didn't commit, or I get let off.

But as I stood there in the courtroom. I saw Elise's parents Helen and Giles they were like a second mum and dad to me and I remember before Elise was killed how close we all were, I had to look away from Elise's parents because I was starting to cry because I knew I couldn't kill Elise.

"Your honour my client would never harm her best friend Elise Sandwell whom my client met in primary school...My client Annabel Richards and Elisa Sandwell have been best friends for almost 22 years and yes they fought but, on the night, Elise Sandwell was killed....my client was out looking for her with a man called Giles Roberts your honour sir." My lawyer Rebecca said to the judge who was looking perplexed and then I noticed the judge last name was Roberts and it hit me then that Giles was her son, and my eyes widen in shock.

I didn't know what to do or say. I sat there in courtroom scared for my life and I looked around the courtroom and saw my mum sat next to Mathew, I sighed deeply as I looked at Mathew, I wish I never said what I said to him on the night in that hotel room.

"Your honour my client was grieving for her best friend who was murdered, and my client was accused killing her best friend by the French police...She wasn't allowed to grieve for her best friend because she was being questioned by the French police who made my client start losing her mind." Rebecca said as I looked around the courtroom wondering what people were thinking.
