Mathew nodded his head and typed in the day Elise was murdered on and Chris was at the party, I quickly jumped up out of the seat as I heard the hotel room door opening and I turned around and saw Chris standing at the doorway with a gun in his hand. I nudged Mathew who turned his head around and saw Chris standing at the doorway and he quickly jumped up.
 
“So, you found out I was there at the party. Where that little slut of a whore Elise was” Chris said as I looked over at Mathew. “Aww is amber and Mathew back together again after what ten times failing to get together.” Chris said as Mathew pushed me back as he stood in front of me
 
“What do you want Chris?” Mathew asked calmly
 
“What do I want. I want her to feel how i felt when I saw Elise being a whore at the party I was at and for her to feel what I felt when I killed that bitch of a whore, she calls her best friend.” Chris said
 
“Why are you doing this Chris.” I asked as i stepped from out of Mathew’s shadow.
 
“Your so-called best friend didn’t care about you at all Amber. That night when you two had a fight. She called me because she knew I was in Paris watching her every move because she was under my control, and she told me about the fight you two had and she was pathetic Amber crying to me on the phone and saying how the world doesn’t treat her right and she was jealous of you Amber. Elise had every right to be jealous of you, I mean you are bloody sexy and gorgeous, and Elise wasn’t like you at all.” Chris said as the words of him calling me sexy and gorgeous made me sick to my stomach.
 
“Then while on the phone to me. I overhear her talking to some bloke about some house party, so I decided to follow her and when I found where she was. It made my bloody boil. She was kissing some random guy at a house party high of her head on drugs and I thought if amber was mine, she wouldn’t do that to me. That was when I thought Elise had to go so I could have you all to myself Amber.” Chris said as he was pointing the gun at Mathew.
 
“Chris I’m sorry Elise treated you badly.” I said as I bit my tongue but, in my head, I wanted to scream and yell at him, but I couldn’t because Chris was holding a gun and pointing at Mathew, and I couldn’t lose Mathew again.
 
“She went into the room you and her were staying in and I was already in that room waiting for her, lurking and watching her as she went through your clothes and she tried a few tops on, they didn’t suit her as well as they suited you, Amber. You see the thing about you was that your body just filled them clothes, her body didn’t at all instead it made her look ugly.” Chris said
 
 
I could feel my eyes tearing up, the way Chris spoke about Elise made my skin crawl and I shivered because the thought of my best friend being watched and judged because of her fiancée made her feel like she wasn’t good enough.
 
“So you made my best friend feel like she was worthless and that she didn’t live up to expectations in your eyes because she wasn’t me. You need to sort your head out. Because Elise was perfect she did everything for you and you pushed her around and made her feel like a rag doll. It’s no wonder Elise wanted to break up with you.” I said as my anger just came out of me.
 
After I said that all I saw was Chris releasing the trigger. I knew what I said upset him because in my eyes he was a bully. I pushed Mathew out of the way and the bullet hit me penetrated under my left rib cage and I fell backwards and Giles and my dad came running into the room . They both rugby tackled Chris to the floor, Giles quickly pushed the gun out of Chris’s right hand with his foot and him and my dad stayed on top of Chris until the police came and they arrested Chris on the charges of murder of Elise.
 
I could feel myself slipping away. Mathew had hold of me and his left hand was keeping pressure on the wound until the paramedics came into the room and they took over from Mathew but he didn’t leave my side at all.
