Giles held me while I was crying as I couldn't get my tears to stop it was like someone just had let a waterfall of tears come out of my body. I digged my nails into Giles back and he didn't even flinch.

"Hey Amber let's get you home." Giles said as I pulled away from him and wiped my eyes with my hands.

I didn't know if I could trust Giles at all. Every inch of my body was telling me to push Giles away. I stepped away from Giles and I gave him a look.

"I can walk home Giles. "I said as I carefully stepped away and walked away from Giles quickly.

I didn't look back at Giles. There was no way I would think Giles could kill Elise because Giles told me he didn't know Elise so why he would kill her and what was he hiding and how did Giles know where I was and how did he know where I would be and where I would be. Did Giles plan the girl who has a similar laugh to Elise or was Giles watching me from somewhere or maybe he just happened to be in the place at the time I needed someone.

I entered the hotel room me and Elise stayed in when we first got to Paris. I don't know what I was searching for maybe a clue that I couldn't put my finger on, I searched through stuff in the hotel room. Everything looked like how it was when I came back to find Elise on the floor murdered. I could still see the blood on the floor from where her cold body was.

I stepped back from the body was lay. I could feel something tugging at the back of my throat like something was going to come out and I felt as though I couldn't breathe as if I was being strangled by something that wasn't there. I quickly turned around and ran out of the room and knocked into Mathew.

"Amber what are you doing here?" Mathew said as I stepped back from him and shook my head and I kept on running like I needed to escape from the hotel and I ran out of the hotel still feeling like I needed to escape and I kept on running until I couldn't run anymore and I stopped near the café.

I sighed deeply while staring at the café until I heard a voice come from behind me.

"You always come back to this place don't you Amber." A voice said as the person stepped out from behind a wall and my eyes widen in shock and fear as I gulped hard as the person who was now standing in front of me was my dad. I hadn't seen him since he was taken to prison when I was six years old but I heard a few months ago he was let out and he didn't even bother to get in touch with me.

"Dad what are you doing here?" I asked as my dad stood beside me.

"Same thing you're doing here kiddo." My dad said as I shook my head and glared at my father.

"How can you know what I'm doing here when you've not been in my life since I was six years old dad when you were taken to prison for beating up my own mum and keeping me a hostage.... your own daughter dad" I said as my eye lids started to fill up with tears.

"I was six years old dad not once did it occur to you that maybe I wasn't going to turn on you or maybe turn you in to the police but I didn't did I dad" My dad shook his head. "Why are you here now dad? How did you find me?" I asked as my dad sighed deeply.

"I was with Elise on the night she was killed....I bumped into her she told me you and she had a fight and that was it" My dad said as I stood there trying to take in what he was saying to me.

"Wait you were with Elise before she was killed. How did you know what Elise looked like you didn't even meet her dad?" I said as my dad looked at me with sadness in his eyes.

"I was seeing your friend Elise Amber and Elise told me about yours and hers trip to Paris and I had to come and see her and get a chance to see my lovely daughter who's a young woman now and get to know you because I missed so many years and I regret everything I did to you and your mum Amber." My dad said as he seems genuine but I felt sick as to why would Elise be seeing my dad behind my back.

"Dad what happened when you saw Elise." I asked him as he shrugged his shoulders and he sat down beside me and sighed.

"We talked, talked about the fight you and she had and then we went for a walk along a bridge and just carried on walking and talking and then she said she had somewhere to be so I walked her to the place and it seemed dodgy and not the sort of place Elise would be going to." My dad said as I watched his body language tense up when he mentioned the place.

"Can you show me the place dad." I asked as my dad resisted but then gave in and he nodded his head.

Me and my dad were walking across the same bridge him and Elise walked and it felt weird doing the things my best friend did before she died almost as though she was with us, watching us. I shivered as my dad stopped and I stopped and I looked at the building that was in front of me and my eyes widen in shock. My dad was right Elise would not come here as we entered the building, we saw a couple of young girls about mine and Elise's age getting groped and played with by evil and strange men. My dad was in front of me and he took my right hand and held it tightly as we entered a room.

The walls had damp on them everywhere was dirty and there were mattresses on the floors some needles on them where people would sleep and then something caught my eye over in the corner it was a girl who looked similar to Elise. I let go of my dad's hand and I walked over to the girl and my eyes widen in shock.

"Catherine." I said as the girl turned to face me and I stepped back from Catherine.

"Who are you and how do you know my name." Catherine asked as she rose up from the mattress and looked at me with a expressionless look on her face.

"It's me Amber Elise's best friend." I said as Catherine's once expressionless face turned into eyes widen in shock as she looks at me up and down.

"Took you long enough to track me down Abs." Catherine said as I didn't know whether to hug her or stand there awkwardly.

"What are you doing here?" I asked as Catherine sighed deeply as she looked at my dad and gave him a look.

"Alright Richard." Catherine said as my dad nodded at her and I was confused as hell.
