Dream 3rd Person POV
Dream didn't know how to react anymore. He had scheduled their first actual piano lesson for today. Today! With Dave, who he had suspected but only was confirmed to be yesterday as Techno. Why in any hell of a world he'd keep such a secret was unknown to Dream, but surely there was some reason.
He didn't know how he was going to interact with him, knowing such a secret but not supposed to have known. He would just have to act regular, calm, cool, collected, and funny as ever.
He was just running around on the SMP, not on a call but just grinding for resources. He was able to play like this without paying it heed, so he could think about other things while being productive on the server.
"Should I tell someone? Well, it's not my place to share I guess. But I don't get how he could his something this big. I have to act normal though. It'll be way obvious is I don't. But how do I act normal if I know it's him.
"I could always hint at the fact that I know. But he doesn't know what I look like, so he won't get it.
"Oh, I though he was cute when I first saw him. I think Techno is cute? Huh, different..."
Dream's thoughts were all over the place, jumbled and scrambled, thrown this way and that. He couldn't really focus on just one thing.
It didn't take long before the clock reached its make of nine'o'clock though. He knew he should start getting ready.
Logging out and turning off his PC, Dream walked over to his closet. He chose a black, cropped, polo shirt with three thin, white stripes going through it horizontally. He wore his two gold and silver twisted chains around his midriff, resting above the pair of blue jeans he put on.
He put his feet down in his sneakers before changing over to a pair of high, combat boots.
"Not a bad outfit," he decided as he combed through his hair slightly. He grabbed his stuff as he walked out the door, locking it behind him.
He hummed along with whatever was on the radio as he drove down the streets, weaving in and out of traffic absentmindedly. He put the car in park, drumming both sets of fingers against the steering wheel, tapping his thumbs as well, ever so slightly.
He sighed. Gathering up his courage and pulling up a facade of casualty. The door swing open easily, and he walked in, inclining his head forward as a small greeting to Jess, the absolute bitch at the front desk. She was just a college student making money on the side, so it was clear why she acted the way she did.
It didn't make her any more bearable of course, but there's nothing making anyone talk to her anyways.
Dream say in his office, watching the clock tick every so slowly. It was still a good ten minutes until Techno would get there. He'd just have to remember to not call him that.
Tick. Tick.
Tick. Tick.Dream slid up the cover over the keys to the piano. in his office. Putting his feet into position, he placed his fingers on the fourth and middle octave on the normal base key of 'c.'
He pressed down his left middle, right index, and right ring fingers, holding down for a few seconds. Then, he began a well composed symphony. One of his own in fact.
Methodically pushing his foot down on the right furthermost pedal over and over, the keys blended well, Dream putting layers of keys and notes on top of each other. He hummed along slightly, getting lost in his own melody. The tune hummed along, not a single mistake being made.
