??? POV

"Shh...
"It's not worth it
"Rejection is the only path.
"Hope will get you nowhere."

He woke up in a different place from all the others. He stood in front of a familiar castle, decorated and lit of. It was only semi-dark outside, yet no one was there.

His view seemed to spin and spin, like a panning shot in a movie. No one there, not a soul, the entire place was empty. He was simply alone.

Then his view lurched forward. Everything zoomed away. Or out more so. He was back in the open field with just a single orb.

It was dark. The orb was illuminated with the illustration of the first empty place. He could hear the wind howling, could smell a bitter breeze. A soft whisper brushed his ear, and he turned around.

A figure loomed away in the darkness. It was dark, but the figure seemed even darker somehow. The figure was faced away though, how he could tell, he would never know.

The shadowy thing began to walk away, not turning back. He cried out to the figure, wanting it to come back, yet to no avail.

Silence was the only answer.

He awoke drenched in sweat. He looked around the room of darkness. Another time of sleep was far away, and he pulled out his phone with nothing left to do.

Technoblade 3rd Person POV

Disney World was enticing. There was so much to do and so much to see, yet there wasn't enough time for all of it. They visited every park plus a free day except for one. They were saving Magic Kingdom as the best for last.

Techno was a bit frustrated that a lot of their days were interrupted. Because of the current plot with Tommy, he had to do a lot more streaming and planning with the boy. He would have rather spent the whole day with Dream in whatever park they wanted.

Like today, they had to leave extremely late to get to their final park because he had to do the 'assembling and army [Dream SMP]' stream with Tommy. It was fine though, they managed to work around it plenty.

Dream was beyond excited to take him. Not only were there so many rides and fun things there, Dream had gotten fast passes and everything they needed for the single day they had. Unbeknownst to Techno, Dream also knew about something awesome happening later that night since it was so close to Christmas.

Only a week away from Christmas, and Techno knew exactly what he was getting Dream. A mask. Not any mask obviously, but one like in all of the fanarts of him. Not only was it fitting since they were originally just Youtube friends, but as well as perfect for the CreatorCon only a few weeks hence.

There were many huge attractions even besides the castle in Disney World. In fact, they spent a lot of time just walking around while talking and looking at them.

After countless rides and snacks, sunset slowly approached. It was just a few minutes until eight, and the two wandered their way in front of the castle. The sun set slowly as the pair sat on a bench in front of the grand building.

Techno found himself leaning slightly against Dream, but the other boy was in a similar position. Without staring directly at the sun, the two watched it as it fell.

The sun is a wondering thing. It rises and falls as mean live and die. It represents fleeting happiness and temporary joys. It can mean so much, and the beauty of it is its own pain.

Techno had always been fascinated by things that held so much symbolism. It was enjoyable to marvel at the many of things to be marveled at.

As the sun dimmed and its life flickered away for the night, he chu at barely saw Dream turn to face him. He turned as well, meeting the other's eyes.
