Chapter 9
Bitter lost

Izuku followed behind Katsuki, his mind still going back to the dragons. Even though they had left the room, Izuku could still feel the link to his dragon bond. It was amazing to be connected to her, even when Izuku couldn't see her anymore.

"So this is how you could speak to them when we were traveling home?" Izuku quietly asked as he looked back at his mate before looking at his feet as he walked. It was kind of all unreal compared to where he came from.

"I'm shocked that she wanted to bond with me. I'm an outsider and only just met me. I'm a little worried I won't be able to do things if needed. What if I mess something up.... I can't hurt her that way or anything, can I?" Izuku asked, giving a small shake of his head.

Katsuki stops pulling Izuku to him. "Don't worry so much. Viridis chose you the way you are now." Katsuki encouraged, kissing Izuku's cheek.

Izuku gave a small smile as they started walking again. However, his thoughts came to a stop as he heard Denki's voice. Katsuki's mother was telling him to eat a muffin, and he was kind of squeaking.

Denki looked a little green. "Overstuffing me will not help!" Denki squeaked out, his hands in the air, waving about at Mitsuki, who held a muffin out to Denki.

Kirishima's sweat drops as he watches his mate look iller. "Bakumom, the healer, said everything was okay. Denki got the baby belly going on already. He's healthy!" Kirishima quickly said.

"You're going to make him sick, mother," Katsuki said, coming out into the open with Izuku. Denki's eyes shone with happiness when he saw Izuku again.

"Izuku help! If I'm forced to eat one more thing, I'm going to be sick," Denki moaned. The omega had gained weight, filling out a little. He was no longer skin and bones, and his belly was swollen with pregnancy.

Izuku looked at his mother-in-law. "Don't make him eat anymore, mother-in-law. It's no fun when we get sick and not want to eat any more that day." Izuku said as Denki came to him, hugging him tightly.

Izuku smiled brightly at Denki. "Look at this, your little one getting bigger!" Izuku said, grazing Denki's belly.

Denki blushed and smiled back at Izuku. "Yours is getting there too." he whispered. Mitsuki sighed.

"Ah, I don't want to make him sick, just want him to be on the safe side to carry his babies," she said. "Now come along, you two need new clothes made," Mitsuki added.

Katsuki exchanged a look with Kirishima, who just shrugged, and the two followed behind their omegas with the queen leading the way. Kirishima has been a part of their family since Katsuki had found him in the dragon's nest. This is kind of remarkable in ways, Kirishima may have lost his birth parents, but he now had a set of adoptive dragons AND human parents.

Mitsuki was quite excited as she took them to a room where the sewist was waiting to measure them. Both omegas relaxed when they saw the seamstress was a beta. She was rather pretty, with red hair and green eyes.

"Izuku and Denki, this is Kendo. She will measure you and making your clothes. She's good at what she does," Mitsuki said. The queen was a kind of obsessed with looking good and had Kendo brought back from Izuku's city. She was impressed with what Kendo had made so far.

Denki recognized her. "Wow! You're the most famous sewer in our city. You made all the royal family's clothes." Denki said. He remembered looking in through her shop windows, amazed by the pretty suits and dresses Kendo made that he'd never be able to afford.

Mitsuki snorted. "That's why I took her for myself," she said.

Kendo blushed. "Well, thank you for your praise. It's about time someone recognized my talents. Okay." She said, taking measurements of Izuku and Denki. She opened her bag afterward and pulled out a book she had made with various fabrics.
