CHAPTER SEVEN  —
( Let me treasure you )

It turns out that Mary Margaret and David Nolan had been secretly seeing each other for a couple of weeks before David's wife, Kathryn, found out. It just so happens that Kathryn goes missing after she finds out and leaves town to start fresh. Soon after, a heart was found inside one of Mary Margaret's jewellery boxes, which led to the woman getting arrested.

Luna was going to the Sheriff's station to speak with Mary Margaret, whom she believed was innocent. Mary Margaret was one of the sweetest and most innocent women Luna had ever met. Knowing Mary Margaret loved them, Luna made some lemon cakes to show her support.

As she entered the building, she headed towards the cells, where she saw Henry and Daisy seated on a bench just outside the Sheriff's office, reading Henry's book. "Daisy?" Luna questioned, gaining the children's attention. "Henry? What are you two doing here?"

"We came to see Mary Margaret," Daisy replied.

"We know she's innocent," Henry told her. "She's Snow White, and Snow White could never kill anyone."

"And Mary Margaret could never do such a thing," Luna said. "She's the most sweetest and loving woman I have ever met, and Snow White is known to be the same."

Daisy's face lit up. "Does that mean you believe us and the book?!"

Luna nodded. "Maybe. Do you two mind that I borrow and reread the book?"

Henry frowned. "I thought you already did?"

Luna sighed. "I read most of it but stopped at the Queen of Dragons story. I was too scared to read it. I guess I was afraid of finding out the truth," she told them. "But it's been a few months, and I think I'm finally ready."

Daisy leapt off of the seat and wrapped her arms around her mother. "I knew it, Mum. I knew you'd believe us."

Luna smiled softly and hugged her back with her one free arm. "Hold on there, darling. I told you that I'd read it."

"But you believe! I know you'll believe it!" Daisy said brightly.

"Luna?" Someone called out behind them, and the three looked to find Emma walking towards them with Mr. Gold. "Henry? Daisy? What are you three doing here?"

"Well, I'm here to give Mary Margaret some cupcakes. I know she loves them," Luna replied, her gaze sliding over to catch Mr. Gold's after she finished talking. "Mr. Gold."

He nodded. "Ms. Edwards."

Emma looked between the two with a frown. "Okay." She then looked at Henry. "But that doesn't explain why you're here."
