Ch 22

A girl opens the door and she immediately tries to shut the door again. "I know I'm ugly but damn" I say "open the door Alicia we need to talk" Yejin yells "go away" the girl yells from inside. Yejin gets upset and I can see tears form. Oh hell no! "ALICE" I yell "Alicia" Yejin corrects "whatever OPEN THE DOOR NOW OR ELSE IM KNOCKING IT DOWN" I yell banging on the door unconsciously. The door suddenly opens and I almost hit Alicia.

"Are you Park Sorin" she asks I nod "I'll let you two in if you let me talk to Hyunjin" she says. "You've got to be kidding me" I say "okay goodbye" she attempts to close the door "FINE, fine I'll call him after we talk to you" I say she smiles and let's us in.

We sit at a table together. "Divorce me I'm pregnant with the love of my life please Alicia sign the papers" Yejin begins to plead. Alicia begins to laugh, I glare at her. "I signed the divorce papers years ago I just never told you so can suffer for leaving me" she says "are you fu-" Yejin stops me from cussing "suffer for leaving you, Alicia you cheated on me for years" Yejin says "so" Alicia says "SO ALICIA YOU DESERVE TO SUFFER NOT ME YOU STUPID BITCH" Yejin yells I try to calm her down "NO ALICIA YOU BROKE ME AND I HAD NO ONE AND THOUGHT I COULDNT EVEN MARRY THE MAN WHO FIXED ME BECAUSE OF YOU" I try to leave the apartment with Yejin but she continues to yell.

"Hey you said I could talk to Hyunjin" Alicia says me and Yejin exchange looks. We run out of the apartment and to the car.

One month later
It finally arrived the day my sister Nara, gets married to Xion. Little Jongho stayed the night before with us. Little Jongho seems so happy. He said Nara is prioritizing him more and spending more time with him. He also said Xion treats him like as if he was Xion's son and they get along well. It makes me happy I believe now that Nara changed and is becoming a better mother and person.

The ceremony ends so we head to the party. People are dancing, drinking, talking and having a good time. The venue is beautiful. What do you expect Xion is rich and Nara has expensive taste. Xion and Nara dance together laughing at whatever their talking about. I smile because their happy.

Nara comes to me "thank you for coming" she says "thanks for giving us a excuse to get a break from work" I say laughing. Truth is me and Seonghwa have been working a lot. I work during the day and Seonghwa works at night.

Xion suddenly speaks into the mic. "My dad wants to give a toast so take it away" Xion hands the mic to to his father and everyone listens attentively. After his dad a few more people speak but my mom got a hand on the mic. She's a little drunk but I don't think this will go bad. "My oldest daughter Nara finally gets married" my mom begins "this is going well" Seonghwa says I nod "you know Xion you could do better" my mom says "oh my god" I say "Xion should've married my prettier daughter Sorin, two did date before rights" Seonghwa gets up with me to get my mom away "mom let's go" I say "no Nara you are a bad person just because your married doesn't hide what you did in the past" my mom yells. People look concerned as me and Seonghwa take my mom outside.

Nara comes out in tears. "Mom why would you do that" Nara says "because it's the truth drop the act we all know your not the nice perfect person you pretend to be" my mom says "mom stop" I say "leave right now and don't come near Nara again" Xion comes out now angry. We take my mom to our car and get Mi Sun and little Jongho. The car ride home was silent I text Nara apologizing for our mother and I wished her a good day and to have a safe happy honey moon, we'll take care of little Jongho well.

1 week later
Today San's new girlfriend from far away is coming over for dinner. San asked for it to be at our place since our home is bigger and San wants everyone to meet her.

Jackie and Hongjoong came early. I was peacefully laying down on the coach with Mi Sun laying down on top of me. I had my eyes closed since I am tired still from work. "Are you sleeping" Hongjoong asks "no I'm practicing for my funeral" I say he laughs. "You two look really tired" Jackie says to me and Seonghwa. "We have just been working a lot that is it" Seonghwa says I nod.

Everyone soon arrives and they take a seat at the table. San's girlfriend who's name is Emilisa, is really nice and seems to love her job as a nurse. "San is so respectful and kind he makes me so happy" Emilisa says I smile "good, I raised San to be who he is now" I say "yeah, Sorin said to 'break her back not her heart' and I go by that" San says "SAN, to be clear I never said that" I say "yes you-" I cover San's mouth with my hand. "Wait why would you break her back that's dangerous" Yunho asks genuinely confused.

The next day
I take Hyunjin with me on my lunch break from work to eat. We sit at a table "your getting so skinny" I say pinching his cheek "ow" he says I laugh a little "I heard you and Seonghwa have been working a lot"
Hyunjin says "it's nothing to worry about" I say "you look exhausted, tomorrow I'm having a day off so if you want I can take care of Mi Sun so you can rest with Seonghwa" Hyunjin offers "no I'm fine but thanks" I say "you have to rest, please accept it" Hyunjin continues. To be honest I would take the offer but I don't want to be away from Mi Sun. "Fine I'll drop her off at your dorm in the morning" I say he smiles.
