Today I decided to go to work. I sat down listening carefully to what ever the judge said. I looked at the woman that was fighting for custody of her daughter, the woman looked so nice but also a little stressed but anyone in her situation would be too. I glance at the father who also wants custody, he's tall, bald and is built strong. Their daughter is around 13 years old with long brown hair.
I explained to the judge that the man was a horrible father, because he is. The mans name is Adrian, he mentally abused not only his now, ex wife and daughter but attempted to brake into their home when they were sleeping.
"Nobody deserves to be put down by their loved ones or fear those they care about, and that is what Adrian did to his very own daughter and ex wife" I say. I sit back down confident with my statements. Adrians lawyer begins to falsely accuse Adrian's ex wife of random things, none of it is proven true. This is truly a easy win. The judge says the final statement and the mom has complete custody of her daughter and a retraining order so Adrian stays away from her and her daughter.
I walk to my car parked pulling out my phone to call Seonghwa. Before I click dial someone aggressively grabs my arms. I turn and see Adrian he towers over me with an angry expression. "Excuse me" I say trying to release myself from his grip. "It's all your fault" his deep voice says "sir I'm sorry but I just did my job" I say "I can't see my daughter because of you" Adrian's grip becomes tighter with my free hand I show him my phone "let go or else I'll call the cops" I say Adrians lawyer comes running towards us "Adrian" he yells. Adrian pulls me towards him and looks me in the eyes "I'll see you again and next time you won't be able to call anyone" Adrian let's me go before walking off. I sigh once I sit in the silence of my car. I'm sure Adrian won't see me again he barely knows who I am.
I sit down on the coach next to Yejin who basically lives at my house now because she's always here not complaining though, also her little brother Sunoo (oh yes I did, Enhypen fans where y'all at) came to visit. "I'm having problems with a girl" Sunoo says "like her body won't fit in the bag kind of problems or you like her problems" I ask making Sunoo's innocent eyes widen, I guess he didn't mean murder. "I like this girl but.... it's none of her business" he says "why don't you tell her" Yejin asks "because what if she doesn't like me back" Sunoo says "I guess I'm going to jail for murder because nobody says no to Sunoo" I say "you can't do that" Sunoo says "why not" I say "theirs no alcohol in jail" Yejin says "touché, Sunoo your on your own buddy" I say "it's okay one day I'll tell her" Sunoo says.
The next morning "So how's life" Jongho says sitting across from me at a cafe "good what about you" I say "good too" he says "we're both lying aren't we" Jongho says and I smile "what's wrong" I ask "nothing it's just Jiyun is having a friend sleep at our apartment" he says "a friend" I question "yeah he's staying with us while he finds a job" Jongho says I sigh "a boy... wow umm does she know your not happy about it" I say "I'm trying to give hints but I don't think she's getting it" Jongho says, alright it's time for me to handle this situation.
Me and Jongho bust into his apartment where Jiyun and her friend are sitting at table together looking through a book "hey Sorin-" I cut her off "don't hey Sorin me Jiyun what is he doing here when you have a whole Jongho already" I say "I'm doing him a favor" Jiyun says and I look at her friend. He's familiar.... wait I actually know him "Alan" I say he looks away "I work with you..." I say surprised "what the hell" Jongho says "you lied to me" Jiyun says "I'm sorry I just missed you and I thought we could get back together" Alan says "back to together" Jongho says looking confused "we're never getting back together I love Jongho" Jiyun says which is cute but this situation is very awkward "I'm sorry" Alan apologizes again. Jiyun kicked out Alan for lying "I should have told you earlier" Jongho says smiling while hugging Jiyun "yup" I say. Apparently Alan is Jiyun's ex and he wants her back but she wants to be with Jongho. She doing the right thing!
