Abi

Abi wakes up from her annoying alarm and gets into the shower, getting out and straightening her hair. She gets into some thin black tights, short black shorts and a grey Nirvana top. She pulls on a denim vest and then a black jacket. She pulls on some silver creepers and a black beanie before setting to her makeup. She applies some foundation, winged eyeliner and thick mascara with some dark lipstick. She grabs her bag and books and walks downstairs where she's met with her older sister and little brother.

"Do you really have to wear that to school?" Her sister, Michelle, asks her "You're a cheerleader, you're supposed to be peppy"

"Well sorry for expressing myself" Abi sighs "Hey Evan"

"Hi Abs" Evan giggles. Abi ruffles his hair before grabbing an apple and walking outside after picking up her skateboard. She puts her headphones in and blasts Nirvana before skating down the street.

When she reaches school she kicks her board up and carries it inside, putting it in her locker before grabbing her books and shutting her locker. She sees Luke and walks over.

"Hey Luke" Abi smiles.

"Hey Abi, you look - different" Luke says "a good different though"

"Thanks Luke" Abi laughs as the bell goes "I'll see you later, I have biology with ash now"

"Tell him I expect my packet of fags today" Luke says.

"Will do" Abi laughs. She walks to Biology and sits down next to Ashton "Luke wants his fags"

"Uch this is my last pack" Ashton whines.

"I could slip you a pack" Abi shrugs "if you buy me lunch"

"Why can't you buy your own?" Ashton groans.

"Because I didn't bring money, but if you don't want these fags-"

"Fine fine, meet me behind the bike sheds at lunch and I'll have your lunch" Ashton sighs. As the teacher starts talking Abi zones out, thinking about having to go to therapy tonight.

Abi was diagnoses with bipolar disorder and anger issues when her parents died.

Ever since she's been living in a small two bedroom flat. Michelle sleeps on the sofa bed, Evan has a tiny box room and Abis room is small but it does her.

She mostly sleeps in Evans room or Evan sleeps in her room as he has nightmares most nights. Well, flashbacks.

You see their parents died in a fire in the house. Evan was still in the house and Abis dad had run back into the house to get him, he bought Evan out and told the kids to stay put whilst he got mum, but they never came out.

That was when she was thirteen. Michelle was only fifteen so they all had to go into care, but Michelle used the money from the will and some savings to buy the flat.

"Abi, what is the answer to question six?" The teacher asks.

"I don't know" Abi sighs.

"Then maybe you should pay attention" The teacher snaps.

"And maybe you should fuck off" Abi spits.

"Excuse me?!" The teacher asks, shocked.

"You heard" Abi sneers. She storms out and runs to the bike sheds. She grabs her packet but curses when she has none left as she had given her other pack to Ashton "fuck"

"Need this?" She looks up and sees Luke holding a fag and lighter. She nods and takes the cigarette as Luke lights it. She holds it up and he takes a drag, passing it back. Luke sits down next to her and she rests her head on his shoulder "Why are you out here?"

"swore at a teacher" She shrugs "You?"

"Walked out" Luke sighs "I didn't know you smoke, I thought cheerleaders were supposed to be-"

"Peppy? Havnt I heard that before?" Abi sighs "All of us are different, after the bombshell Chloe dropped yesterday I don't know what to believe"

Flashback

"Uh Chloe?" Ashton asks "What's on your wrists?"

"Uh- um - I can explain" Chloe stutters.

"Explain then?" Dakota asks.

"I - um - cut" Chloe whispers.

"Chloe-" Ashton is cut off by the bell.

"I have to go" Chloe says, running off.

All day the girls and boys were looking for Chloe, but no one found her. What they didn't know is that she was hiding in block 3's girls toilets that no one ever uses, cutting.

End of Flashback

"Yeah that was pretty big news for all of us" Luke says.

"She's worried people are going to judge her" Abi shrugs "Everyone has problems"

"What's your problem?" Luke asks.

"Isn't it obvious?" Abi asks "I have bipolar disorder and anger issues, thought you could tell from the time I broke Sam's wrist?" Abi smirks before walking away, flicking her cigarette onto the ground and leaving Luke in a state of shock.
