Chapter 7

Hey guys! Here is the update I promised(: I hope you like it!

I have gone back to my old way of writing chapters and so far that has seemed to help. I used to write everything in a journal that I carried with me everywhere. This journal had chapters with mini notes written all over in the margin. Fingers crossed my writers block is over!!

The light peaking through my curtains dances across my eyelids as I slowly wake up. Man! What in the hell happened last night. I feel like I've been hit by a bus going 90.

I try to stretch out my muscles....key word TRY. Something is restricting my movements. A second later I realize it is not a something that is restricting me, but a someone...My heart starts racing.  Who is in my bed!! My breathing becomes labored, my heartbeat increases even more. I can feel the sweat start to run down my neck. I need to get out of here.

'Stop panicking and concentrate.' Ryles scolds in my head.

I do as I am told, and I take a deep breath. My heart beat begins to steady, my breathing back to normal. Thats when I notice the tingles radiating from my torso. Alex...

'Oh god Ryles!! Did we.....you know...?'

'Yes dear. You have completed the mating bond!' Excitement imminent in her voice.

"We what!" I said out loud, causing Alex to stir and tighten his grip on my waist. Damn, hes a heavy sleeper.

"Alex! Wake up!"

"Mmmmm...Five more minutes."

Are you kidding me? I throw my hand backwards and smack him right across the face.

"Fuck! Why would you do that!" He whines as he sits up.

Finally free, I sit up too and instantly a chill runs down my spine. I look down to see I am naked....Great..

Alex notices too because as soon as I look up he looks right at my bare chest.

"Eyes up here!" I smack him upside the head. His head snapping up real quick to meet my eyes.

"Did we...?" he begins.

"Yes, and you marked me Alex! How could you do this to me?" I move my hair to the side and expose my left collarbone to him. There lay a perfect bite mark in the crook of my neck.

"Why couldn't you have just given me space?" I sob. Tears pricking at my eyelids.

"Sophia, I didnt mean for this to happen. I only came over to make sure you stayed safe while you partied. But when I saw you start grinding with Aislynn, I tried to dull the pull with a few drinks. It didn't work out like I thought."

"No shit! Now I can't reject you even if I wanted to! What happens if you screw up again? What happens if you wake up tomorrow and realize you truly do not want someone my age?"

Alex jumps across the bed and takes my face in his hands forcing me to look straight into his ice blue eyes. Pain is the only reflection staring back at me.

"How many times do I have to tell you I am not going anywhere? I am all yours till the day we die. I was stupid and selfish for marking you, but I was caught up in the moment. You looked so sexy, and your smell was intoxicating. I was hopeless as soon as you looked at me with those big emerald eyes. All my control flew out of the window. I never meant to hurt you Sophi...I love you, and I was a fool for taking you for granted. Please give me another chance." He pleads.
