Chapter 98 Deciding Where The World's Most Anticipated Rematch Will Be Hosted

23 September 1985

Lynn Jr was still reeling after losing the biggest wrestling match of her life against Ronnie Anne And to add insult to injury Her One Hit Wonder of a brother is still trying to show the world he's still got it by defeating the Former World Champion and someonewho had once beat him in Mike Weaver last week and now he's going to fight another Former Heavyweight Champion Of The World  in Mike Tyson in a couple of months but she was sure that Lincoln would get knocked out as the last time he fought Tyson he was crushed in the third round and now since then he lost two more times before taking a break from the sport before coming back and starting a resurgence in the heavyweight division as he beat fighter after fighter ( with most of them being nobodies until he beat James Broad, Gerry Cooney and most importantly Mike Weaver) he was now one of the best heavyweights in the division again but Lynn Jr was pretty sure Lincoln was lucky to beat Weaver but Tyson would destroy him she tried for a rematch with Ronnie Anne but was rejected she continued to win matches but it seems like the wrestling world kept her as far away from Ronnie Anne as possible since their match.

Meanwhile with Luan she was currently watching Police Academy 2 her role as Lt Debbie Callahan was apparently not needed in this film so she couldn't come back to film it but she will be in production to reprise her role for Police Academy 3 next year as many fans complained of why she wasn't in P.A 2 despite the fact it was a great film which takes her tally of movies for next year to 3 already, She was still working on Summer Rental but she will be done next month and the film is expected to be released in November this was her last movie for 1985 the movie was a bit of a distraction from her problematic marriage, now on her personal life, she and Jason were already going through some turbulence in their marriage after Luan had a miscarriage because back in the gang attack on the night stalker she was accidentally punched in the stomach and she was 2 months pregnant at the time, although it originally wasn't something serious to begin with, apparently the damage had been done as a month later they would receive the bad news that she lost the baby, Now she was super depressed and even started to drink heavily and she started to arrive late on set repeatedly and at one stage she came on set drunk which nearly got her fired from the movie before her husband stepped in and calmed down the furious film director and producers by perfusly apologizing to them and then asking for permission  for her to have some time off as she was going through some issues at the moment and her family ( Her sisters in particular) helped her out of her slump quickly before she returned to Hollywood two weeks later as a new woman ready to take on the world

Frank Bruno stopped Carl The Truth Williams in the 7th round to overtake him in the rankings as he now moved on into 1986 he was done fighting for this year

Mitch Green won an important fight in his quest for a title shot as he won a unanimous decision against James Broad before also closing up shop for the year

James Buster Douglas knocked out Dion Simpson in the first round before calling it a year in the ring for him bigger nights and better fights will be waiting in 1986

Greg Page recorded a big win in his career as he won a unanimous decision victory over the returning Renaldo Snipes over 12 rounds and followed that up with more decision wins over Donnie Long and Mark Young in 10 rounders

James Quick Tillis got a split decision victory against Mike Koranicki and TKO'd Alonzo Ratliff in the 4th round and then a knockout of Ricky Parkey in the 8th round in his bid to return to the title shots

Tyrell Biggs rebounded from his losses to Tyson, Damiani and Mason as he knocked out Joe Bugner in the 5th round And then followed that up with another knockout fellow British fighter Glenn McCrory in the 8th round

Gary Mason was a young British heavyweight who was unbeaten and shaking up a storm in the division he started it out boxing in the U.K. before facing three American heavyweights in London after 11 unbeaten fights and tore them all down as he stopped Mark Young in the 5th round And  then followed that up with 2 more Knockouts over Lorenzo Boyd and most importantly former one time title challenger Donnie Long in the first round and Second Round respectively

Meanwhile Lincoln Loud was recovering following his brutal fight with Mike Weaver but he won and because of the fact Lincoln just fought a tough, bruising fight and he needed some recovery time, The Fight with Mike Tyson was to be pushed back to early to mid December of 1985 and now many promoters were fighting for the right to host and promote this fight for months now with some having ideas of the fight to be hosted in The U.S  with The Garden and The Astrodome bidding big money for the rematch even more than in Their first fight while others wanted it in an outside country which would guarantee a big payday for both but one promoter rose above all others as he and his representatives were trying to choose an outside country for the fight as he called both Loud and Tyson and they agreed to fight for him for nothing less than $30 Million Dollar purse and he was currently drafting seperate contracts for both fighters to sigh for the fight. Such money enormous for the modern era was purported to prevent other top promoters from attempting to arrange a Tyson vs Loud rematch under their own auspices, so no one else would attempt to take King's soon to be signatories. However as King didn't have the money and he was not welcomed to stage an event of such profile in the United States, he began seeking an outside country to stage and sponsor the event, he was currently in a meeting with his advisors and representatives

Don King: So gentlemen, what countries are bidding for this event?

Assistant: Well Brazil are contesting
Advisor 1: Japan is also bidding
Rep 1: Russia is in
Rep 2: Qatar Is interested
Advisor 2: North Korea Is interested
Advisor 3: South Africa wants it to be staged there

Don King: Good work let's now see who bids the highest and make sure to book me a meeting with all those countries advisors or representatives we have a 2 weeks to finalize this
