The month went by extremely slowly, especially the more I looked forward to our trip. I tried to occupy myself by finding new hobbies. Once it actually came to packing, I just completely forgot about so many things.
"You're too excited! Is this how it feels like to be in love?" Nat barged into my room and jumped onto my bed. She's been having too many day offs lately.
"Whatever," I rolled my eyes but ended up giggling to myself. "I'm so excited to be with Jay. We were a couple for like thirty seconds before he left."
"True! It must be so frustrating. You two haven't even kissed yet, and it's been like months already." She shook her head.
"Who said we haven't kissed..." I mumbled under my breath, but she clearly heard it. She usually pretends to not hear things, but today her hearing seems extra sharp.
"How was it?" Her eyes were wide in curiosity. This girl sure loves to gossip.
"The first time?" I honestly tried to forget about it. "Gosh... I wasn't even aware of how he felt then. It kinda just happened? I recently broke up with Jake that time, and it really confused me."
"I could imagine, but at least Jay broke the barrier between you two. If it wasn't for that, I would have lost all hope on y'all..." she shook her head and surprisingly began helping me pack. "Do you actually need all of this? Are you running away with him?"
"It's better to overpack than under pack. I might need these, who knows?" I put back the rainbow slippers in my luggage.
My mom double checked my belongings, and we were then on our way to the airport after she gave us the yes. It's my first trip by myself... more so, with my boyfriend. It makes me feel more independent in some ways.
"Remember what I told you?" My mom patted my back and I nodded. She gave me a lot of warnings, so I don't actually recall everything. It will be fine. Switzerland is super safe.
I finally got on the plane, claiming the window seat. Luckily, I had no seat mate. In fact, there were barely any passengers so I was upgraded to business class.
The ride was very comfortable. I got a lot of sleep, and the food was surprisingly amazing. I just can't wait to see Jay already...
"M'am, we're here!" A flight attendant woke me up and I got startled. I thanked her and grabbed my carry-on.
Almost there...
Even though I have bad eyesight, I could already see Jay from afar. I ran down the escalator and jumped into his arms, just like before he left last time.
"I miss you!" I showered him with soft pecks allover his face. I totally forgot I wore lipstick...
"I miss you too, B." He picked me up bridal style and kissed me. I closed my eyes and just seized the moment, not caring about what people from our surroundings thought.
"I accidentally smeared lipstick allover your face... sorry about that." I took out my makeup wipes as we looked for a bench. Once seated, I scrubbed his face with the small towel. It made my chest feel warm... being this close to him again.
"It's also allover your face," Jay took a wipe and helped me get it off. "You're so damn cute."
"You're gonna make me giggle! Stop it." I tried to keep a straight face.
"I love you." He whispered then blew some air into my ear.
"Why?!" I laughed like crazy because his gesture made me feel all giddy inside. "I mean... I love you too, I guess."
"Sounds forced." He pretended to pout and cry.
We took a cab to the hotel, getting a slight glimpse of the beautiful alps that surrounded the place. Although it's summertime here, the snow on top of the mountains are still clearly visible. It feels like my cabincore dreams might finally come true.
Once we arrived at the building, they warmly welcomed us and the desk person gave us the key. Suddenly, a group of people arrived and greeted Jay. They're all Korean, so I'm assuming they're his classmates.
"Is she your girlfriend? You scored big time! She has killer curves." One of the guys patted him and Jay scoffed, pulling me closer to him.
"I know," he held my hand and we passed through the crowd. "We're both very tired... we'll go up now!"
"Aren't those your future colleagues? Why are you running away from them?" I curiously asked him once we got into the elevator.
"Half of those dudes are perverts. Didn't you see why there's barely any girls in our class? Those guys drove them off," Jay pecked my forehead. "I don't want anyone to ever disrespect or harass you."
"You made my heart skip a beat." I honestly told him and he grinned.
We held hands all the way to our hotel room, and my body began to grow weaker as we got closer. I feel like sharing a room and bed with your partner is so intimate... but of course, nothing's bound to happen.
"We're here." Jay opened the windows, and it brought light to the room.
The whole place is designed with wood, which gives it a homey feel. There's even a fireplace and a hot tub that overlooks the scenery. It's absolutely gorgeous.
"This is incredible." I went to the terrace and inhaled the fresh air. The breeze feels so clean and relaxing against my skin. This place is way better than I've ever imagined.
"I'm glad you like it." Jay hugged me from behind and rested his chin onto my shoulder.
