I wasn't really sure what to do with this chapter, but honestly, I feel like just getting to the plane and the plane ride and the tour of the house would be kind of boring? I guess it'll be more of a filler chapter, I know exactly what I'm doing next. I'm gonna switch it up a lil and gonna do Alex's point of view for this one! Let me know what you guys think and if you have any ideas!
Hope you guys like it!

Alex's POV
After we got Dunkin Donuts, it was really just uneventful. We just finished our coffees and whatever else we got and just sat around, waiting to go through security and all of that. I felt bad, if this were any other situation I'd be beyond excited. Hell, I just got Dunkin with Dallon Weekes and Brendon Urie! But right now, I was just- there. I don't know why I felt like this, why I hadn't gushed over them, why I haven't smiled once, I just didn't. They seemed so kind and I know they really were trying, but I just sat there. I sat there the whole time while we were waiting for the plane, answering any of their questions or statements with a shrug or a head nod. I felt bad, I know they were giving up. But I just didn't have it in me.
The plane ride was- interesting to say the least. I haven't been on a plane since I was in second grade, and needless to say, this was a lot different. I had gone to Disney World when I was nine, which was the one in Florida. I always forget that the ones in California and Florida have different names, and I never remember. It was about 2 hours, so it wasn't that bad. It was me, my mom, and her friend, who let me play on his iPad the entire time. I remember having the window seat and playing fruit ninja.
At first, I was pretty scared on the plane. Luckily, there weren't too many people that were on, which made me feel a bit better. Brendon and Dallon had let me pick what seat I wanted, and of course, I wanted the window seat. I know people accidentally hit you if you sit in the aisle seat, and I didn't want to be squished together in the middle seat. So, I had the window seat, Brendon had the middle seat, and Dallon had the aisle seat. I kind of felt bad, he didn't have much legroom. Of course, he's just really tall. I could almost stretch my legs out fully, I'm just barely hitting 5'1.
Before I had left the group home, I had put together a bag of things to do on the plane so I didn't get bored, which I'm glad I did. The flight had one stop. After almost a three-hour flight, we stopped in North Carolina. I liked North Carolina, I had been there once for a horse competition with my Dad, a while ago. We had about 30 minutes before we boarded the next flight, which was a lot longer. This one was 5 and a half hours, and then we were in California. I wasn't sure how to feel exactly, the new time zone, how this was my new home. It was just odd, it felt different, like it shouldn't be happening. It was a three-hour time difference, so this would definitely take some getting used to.
Once we got off the plane in California, we looked around for a place to get some food before we left the airport. It was a long flight, and we were all groggy and pretty tired. I hadn't gotten any sleep on the flight, being too nervous and anxious to be able to fall asleep. We ended up stopping at a subway that was in the airport, all of us got a sandwich and a drink, only Brendon and I got a bag of chips. I was the only one who got a cookie. After we got our bags and got subway, we walked out and I followed them to where they had parked their car. Once we found it, I put my suitcase and one of my bags in the trunk before getting in the backseat with a bag I had gotten when I went to New Hampshire once. That bag was my favorite, I always brought it with me anywhere I went. It had my chargers and personal things in it, so I always kept it on me. Brendon and Dallon talked to each other outside for a moment before getting in. This time, Brendon was driving. By the time they got in the car, I was sitting behind the passenger side, already listening to music and eating my food.
After I finished eating, I leaned my head on the window. I fell asleep, because the next thing I knew we were parked in front of a rather nice house with Brendon shaking my arm a little. He had his glasses on and was smiling softly. I got my trash and my bag, then opened the door to get out. Dallon was standing by the door, holding all of my bags, plus his and Brendon's. He and Brendon only had one suitcase and a backpack, as I think they had stayed the night, which was reasonable. From the time that we left the reptile store, it had been 9 hours and 15 minutes. As I got out of the car I checked the time, which happened to be around 10:00, give or take a few minutes. However, when you count in the time zone, my body clock was telling me it was around 1 am. Which, in New England and some other states, it was. It was a three-hour difference between Rhode Island and California, which was difficult for me, especially since I've never been in another time zone.
I covered my mouth as I yawned, I honestly just wanted to get to sleep. I normally did stay up this late pretty often, but now was just different. Brendon followed behind me as I made my way towards Dallon, seeing as he was right next to the door. He gave me a small smile before taking the key and unlocking the door, swinging it open. We were instantly greeted by two small pups, of course being Penny and Bogart. Both of them barked a little before starting to sniff my feet and legs as I stepped inside, so I had stopped to let them do their thing. Both Brendon and Dallon stopped to watch, smiling softly. I yawned again, slowly starting to walk forward as they stopped sniffing me. I was too tired to really pay attention to much of the house, but I did sort of remember where everything was. Dallon pointed everything out as he led me to my room, which was upstairs and a little bit before the end of the hall, before what I assume was the guest room. The master bedroom, which was the bedroom they shared, was at the other end of the hall, with a bathroom at the top of the stairs. I slowly walked inside, looking around. It was a nice room, with a window looking out at the yard. I slowly put my bag down by my now bed and let out a small sigh. Dallon smiled softly and put my bags down before exchanging a look with Brendon and walking out with him, but turned around when they walked out. They exchanged yet another look before both looking at me. Brendon smiled and said a soft good night before shutting the door and walking out.
I yawned yet again before slowly standing up. I went to the bag that I always kept with me, taking out my charger and everything like that. I also had an iPad that I had gotten a few years ago, but it was cracked and starting to fall apart a little. I took that charger out and plugged it in, as well as my phone. I went to my suitcase and unzipped it, searching around for a pair of pajamas, which was just a pair of sweatpants and a long sleeve shirt I had gotten at a waterpark last year with my friend Gabby. I quickly changed, just wanting to go to bed. I got another sweatshirt, this one being a Twenty One Pilots one I had gotten at hot topic, the Chlorine one. I slipped that over my head before getting into bed, pulling the covers over my shoulder as I laid on my side. I didn't set any alarms, I was too tired to really even think about it. I fell asleep rather pretty quickly, which I was thankful for. I didn't know how the morning would be, but I tried not to think about it. I just wanted to be alone, and sleep.
