Well I have no clue where this is going lol but I hope it's going somewhere.
Well okay I have one idea.
Started writing this on a day I wish never happened BUT I have a lot of videos so IT AINT OVER. Also, sorry for mistakes because I don't know exactly what goes on in an airport.

Alex sat in the back seat, his head against the window as he watched the surroundings rush by, the car speeding down the highway. He adjusted his earbuds, sighing softly as he thought. He knew it wasn't a long drive to the airport from the reptile shop where they had been, it was only a surprising 11 minutes. Rhode Island was the smallest state, and where they were coming from to where they were going was only one town over.
Alex had lived in Rhode Island his whole life. He was born in the states capital, Providence, but grew up in the middle of no-where, a small town a lot of people who lived in the state didn't even know about. He had moved twice, once when he was 1 and the other when he was 8. However, he never left the small town.
The teen shifted in the back seat slightly, slowly looking up to the front seat, watching the couple for a moment before sighing. At that point, he wasn't sure what to feel. Of course he was more than exited to meet Brendon and Dallon, two people he looked up to and loved, but he was scared. First off, he was getting adopted. Second, he was moving across the country. Rhode Island to California is over 3,000 miles away, and is an 8 hour flight. He knew it wouldn't be easy, and just that thought made him anxious.
Dallon parked the car were it needed to be, due to it being a rental. Alex had been too zoned out to really noticed that they had parked, it took him a second to lift his head off of the window and look around. When he noticed that the car had been parked he opened up his phone and went to his music app to pause the song that was playing. He slowly took his earbuds out and looked at the two adults, not sure what to do.
Dallon was the first one to say anything. He looked over at Brendon for a second before looking in the back seat at Alex. He smiled softly.
"Alright... I'll help you carry something, then we'll sit down and see if we have time to eat something before the flight." Alex just nodded a little before slowly unbuckling his seatbelt. he sat there for a moment before reaching over and opened his door. He slowly got out and grabbed the one bag he had in the back seat with him. He slowly shut the door, not knowing exactly what to do, now that he was out of the car. Dallon and Brendon both got out, Dallon opening the trunk of the car and walking to the back to get Alex's things.
Brendon smiled at Alex, and although he was nervous, he was exited. He had wanted kids, but one of the main things he was worried about was concerts and touring. However, after a lot of talking and consideration, him and Dallon decided to adopt a teen. They were more self-sufficient, they could take care of themselves, and they knew how things worked. Brendon didn't really have to hold back his swearing, they could understand more and you could do more with them.
Alex looked up at Brendon when he saw him smile, and smiled slightly in return, just the corner of his mouth turning upward into a smile. He walked to the back of the car to get his suitcase. He slung the backpack he had with him in the back over his shoulder, then reached into the back to get his suitcase. Dallon got the other bag for him and flashed him a small smile. Alex just turned away and started to walk.
Dallon looked over at Brendon, not entirely sure what to do. Brendon sighed softly and watched him walk over, then stepped on his tip toes to peck the taller on the lips.
"It'll be alright... Just give her some time, its a lot for her." He said softly, watching Dallon just nod in return. Brendon gently took his hand in his and started to walk, seeing Alex already making his way over to the airport. The two quickly followed after him, making sure the teen didn't leave his sight.
They walked into the airport with the teen, instructing him on where to go and what to do. The only time Alex had been in an airport was when he was 9 in second grade, and he didn't remember anything. However, they still had plenty of time before their plane even started boarding, so they walked to the stores. If Alex was being honest, he was starving. The only thing he had that day was his breakfast, a simple bagel and cream cheese. Even though Alex was pretty hungry, he wouldn't admit it and tell the couple that he wanted food. It may seem weird, but he could be awkward, and he was nervous.
Thankfully, Brendon spoke up about getting food.
"Hey... It's going to be a long plane ride, wanna get something to eat so we don't get super hungry? We can always get something on the flight, but just something to hold us over?" He asked softly, looking at Dallon, then down at Alex. Alex looked up from his feet, then looked up at the two adults infront of him. He just nodded a little and shifted, then looked back at the stores.
"Where do you want to go? I don't think either of us mind, so thats up to you." Brendon smiled softly. Alex quickly looked over again, thinking for only a moment before speaking up.
"I-is Dunkin alright?" He asked softly, sticking his hands further into his sweatshirt pocket. Brendon nodded and looked at Dallon, who nodded in return. Alex nodded and shifted awkwardly, not sure what to do. He watched them for only a moment before turning and starting to make his way over to the Dunkin Donuts. Surprisingly, there weren't a lot of people waiting in line. After all, it was New England. Dunkin was founded in New England. And for anyone who doesn't know, New England is a section of the United States. It's Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts (Where Dunkin was founded), New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine.
Dallon and Brendon quickly followed Alex as the teen walked rather quickly to the small Dunkin Donuts. Alex quickly got in line and looked at the menu, then slowly pulled his phone out of his pocket, checking the time. Brendon held Dallon's hand in his, standing next to him and behind Alex, both adults looking at the menu. Alex hesitated but looked back at them.
"Can I get a drink and a sandwich?" He asked softly, not sure what the two would let him have. Dallon nodded and smiled softly.
"Of course... Get what you want." He squeezed Brendon's hand slightly, watching Alex turn back around. Dallon and Brendon talked for a moment before walking up in line, it now being their turn. Alex hesitated before speaking up to the person working behind the counter.
"Uhm- can I please have a medium iced coffee decaf mocha, with cream and one sweat and low? Oh, also a sausage egg and cheese on a croissant please." He asked softly, flashing the person a small smile before side stepping over, letting Brendon and Dallon order something if they wanted.
Brendon looked at the menu one last time before starting his order. He started it off with a coffee, but Alex stopped him before he continued.
"Oh uhm- if you want cream or anything, if you just say like cream it automatically means three, so you have to specify it a bit..." He said softly, a small, nervous smile on his face. Brendon only raised an eyebrow.
"Really?" He looked at Alex, a bit confused. "Huh. Alright, thanks for letting me know." He smiled softly and shifted.
The teen nodded and shrugged "I guess its just a New England thing." He added on softly. Brendon nodded and finished his order, then let Dallon order after him. The three didn't have to wait for their food and drinks to be ready after they paid. Each of them grabbed what they ordered and they started to make there way over to sit down and wait for their flight; everyone at least a little bit nervous.

Well! I didn't really know what to do with that chapter so I do apologize. I think the next one will be the end of the flight? That sound good to you?
