Y/n puts on her apron as she gets ready for work at the teashop she works at in Shiganshina. She was in the kitchen stirring a jasmine for herself until the bell rings, signalling someone entered the shop. She quickly gets to the front desk to greet the customer. She gets there and greets the customer.

"Hello. Wel-" she stops mid-sentence to realize who entered the shop. It was non other than a shirtless Eren. Y/n was getting worried about how many times she has seen Eren shirtless. "Eren?" she says. "Aren't you suppose to be in your cell?" she asks and Eren only grabs her hand.

"I need you to come with me." Eren says and y/n hesitantly agrees.

They sneakily get out of Shiganshina district to get into Wall Maria. It was now a quiet walk. They haven't talked or seen each other after that visit in the jail cell.

"Eren... Why are you always shirtless?" y/n asks.

"I lost my shirt."

Y/n quietly nods in acknowledgement. "Where are we going?" she asks but Eren doesn't answer.

After a long and quiet walk, Eren brings y/n to a cliff that looks out over the blue sea and the morning sunrise. Eren looks out at the sunrise for a moment and y/n also admires it while still confused to what Eren is doing. Eren then takes y/n in his warm embrace and y/n melts into the hug and hugs back.

"I'm sorry, y/n." Eren quietly apologizes.

"It's okay..."

"No, y/n. I'm not just sorry for what I did for you in the cell, but what I am about to do." Eren said and y/n scrunched her eyebrows in confusion.

"What are you... about to do?" y/n asks.

"Things that I am not proud of... but it's the only way to have freedom. I promised you one day you wouldn't have to fight anymore... you will know what I am not proud to do when it happens. But when I do so... Look away, my love."

The next thing y/n knew... was that Eren left with the Jaegerist... Marley attack Shiganshina, and she would have to fight again.

She looks out to see a little girl about to shoot Eren. When she did so... Eren turned into the Founding Titan and talked to all subjects of Ymir, saying that he has started the rumbling and he will use it to flatten all the world except for Paradis...

'So this is what he meant... but I won't look away...'
