Part 1: How Friends Are Made

Harry's POV:

Fleur, Krum, Cedric, and I were talking while waiting for the third task to start. You see Cedric and I became friends after the Quidditch game last year. Krum, Hermione, and I became friends before the Yule Ball.

#Flashback#

Hermione and I were in the library looking up The Founders of Hogwarts after we had finished our homework. Krum walks in complaining about how he couldn't take his boyfriend to the ball. We look at each other, got up, and walked over to him.

"Hey, we heard you grumbling about the Yule Ball and not being able to take your boyfriend. Look we don't care that you are bi or gay."

"Hey, I have an idea why don't you go and get your boyfriend, and we can talk about my idea."

Hermione and Krum look at me and I look at her. I can see the wheels turning in her head, then it clicks.

"I'll do it. Just to make sure it is okay with all 3 parties. Why don't you go get your boyfriend?"

Krum looks at us confused but nonetheless goes and gets his boyfriend. They come back about 10 minutes later. No one is around but Ginny, so we wave her over.

"Harry, Hermione this is my boyfriend, John. He has been teaching me English."

"Nice to meet you. My mom is from Bulgaria, and my dad is from America. They got married and moved to Bulgaria."

"Cool, I am French and English. This is my cousin Hermione. Her dad was my mom's brother."

"Anyway, I heard Krum couldn't take you to the Yule Ball. I was thinking that Hermione could go with Krum. It is so no girls will try and rape you."

"You know that is a good plan we should keep it secret. Thank you for doing this. May I ask why she is here? Not to be rude but I would call you by your 1st name but I don't know it."

"No, it's okay. My name is Ginny. Harry and I are going to the Yule Ball as friends. His name is Rose. He is a female and has a soulmate. We just are together to keep up appearances. The reason I am here is because of appearances."

#Flashback Over#

That is how Krum and I became friends. How Fleur and I became friends was when I saved her from the Grindylow. I also guided her to the hostages and helped her with her sister. The others became friends through me.
