21: Home

Remus' POV:

I am outside after sending a message to Rose to let her know that we are ready for them. When they arrive a minute later I see James standing from throwing up.

"Where are we?" Lily asks.

"210 Godrics Hollow." I couldn't help but answer.

"Home." Rose said with a smile.

Rose grabs her mom's hand and pulls her through the gate. James just stands there staring. I look over at him worried.

"Why did she choose this place?" He chokes up.

"She did it to feel connected to you and Lily." I said sadly.

"It looks so different than what I remember." He says with tears in his eyes.

"She did a lot of work on it. When she first brought Sirius and I here we had the same reaction. She said that she wanted to make it more homey." I say with a slight laugh.

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH

We hear a scream and take off in the direction that it came from. When we arrived there was Lily and Rose covered in blue and silver glittery slime. Rose hair starts to turn white, and starts to have a hard time breathing.

"SIRIUS ORION BLACK WHAT IN THE WORLD WERE YOU THINKING POURING SLIME ON ROSE!!!!!!????? YOU KNOW SHE CAN'T STAND IT AFTER THE ORDEAL WITH THE BASILISK!!!!!!!" I shout at  him, because of his idiocy.

He jumps over the railing and turns into Padfoot trying to calm Rose down. Everyone leaves to give them some privacy. About 15 minutes later Pads comes in carrying a tearful Essy. He sits down with her in his lap.

"What happened with the basilisk?" Regulus asks.

"Well we didn't tell you the whole truth. When she stabbed the basilisk one of its fangs got stuck in her arm. When she pulled it out she stabbed the diary that was draining Ginnys life. It spilled out ink kind of like blood." I said looking at Rose as she starts falling asleep.

They all look at her with sad smiles. Looking back at it she is a strong warroir. I am glad to be her Uncle Mooney. Regulus looks at her with awe.

"How do you like the cottage so far?" Sirius whispers as to not wake Essy.

"It's beautiful." Regulus and Lily answer.

"She didn't touch your guys room, after she fixed it up. Her room is next to your room." I say.

"I saw the dog house and I gotta say I am impressed." Lily says with a smile.

"She really made the house a home." James says looking at her.

"Yes, yes she did." Severus says out of nowhere.

"Where did you come from?" I ask while trying to calm down my heart.

"I flooed after the train left. She really can make anyone feel comfortable around her." He says with a small smile.

"That she does." Lily says.

We fall into a comfortable silence while watching as Essy snuggles closer to Pads. He wraps his arm tighter around her as he falls asleep. We all fall asleep for the night right there as we did not want to be away from each other.
