I teleport into the lair, smiling. The turtles, Splinter, April, and Kirby look up, greet me, and wave.
Kirby: Is there a particular reason why you asked us here on this fine day, author-chan?
Me: Yes! We're going to look at another awesome episode...The Guanlet!
The turtles and Splinter: *Remembers what happened at the end of the last episode* Oh boy, here we go...
Me: Yep! Are you ready?
The turtles, Splinter, April and Kirby: Ready as we'll ever be~
I play the episode. The first scene shows April walking through the city when a weird mutant bird creature sees her and tries to eat her.
April: It was pretty terrifying!
Like any normal person would do, April runs away to the turtle's lair where Donnie is showing off his latest gadget, smoke pellets!
Mikey: Aw yeah bro, these things are awesome! *Uses one and makes it look like he teleported*
Splinter: I must agree, these things are useful for randomly appearing out of nowhere *used one to appear in front of everyone, making them jump*
Raph: So that's how ya do it
Mikey: Hold up *zooms in on the screen and sees the famous hug between Leo and Raph in the background* Awww!
Raph and Leo: *smiles a bit*
The scene shows April running into the lair to tell the turtles and Splinter what happened. Raph then started to tease her.
April: *sighs*
Everyone: *gives Raph a look*
Raph: Sorry
The turtles decide to try and capture the bird creature, but Splinter tells them that they should observe and study it first because he thinks that the turtles are starting to be overconfident.
Raph: We are not!
Splinter: Yes you are
Donnie: Okay, maybe a little
Leo however insists that everything will be fine since they've fought well in the first few months they went up to the surface.
In a different scene, Shredder is seen once again rimprimanding Bradford and Xever for losing to the turtles for the hundredth time and vows that it's his turn to fight Yoshi's students.
Splinter: *Growls a little under his breath*
The turtles: *looks a little nervous*
The next scene shows April playing as bait to lure the mutant bird in their direction.
Kirby: What?! You put my sweet baby girl in danger?!
April: I was fine dad!
Leo: Yeah Mr. O' Neil, we knee what we were doing!
Kirby: I suppose so...
The turtles ended up capturing the mutant who turned out to be Pigeon Pete. He brings April s message from her father.
Kirby had managed to record a video for April on his phone during his imprisonment, which Pete brought. The video showed Kirby explaining that something big is going to happen in New York and that April must be taken away from the danger.
Leo: *looks at Kirby* How'd you manage to send that without anyone seeing you?
Kirby: I have my ways, Leonardo
