The turtles and Splinter gathered around as the first episode 'Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' starts to play on the screen.
Raph: Woah! This is awesome! Feels like this just happened yesterday!
Mikey: Woah! *Starts jamming to the theme song* Aw yeah son! Rock out with the shell-shocked pizza kings~!
Raph: Teenage mutant ninja turtles, heroes in a half shell! Turtle power~!
Donnie: The good guys win and tht bad guys lose~!
Splinter: *grins, humming along*
Leo: Aw yeah! I'm the leader in blue, does anything it takes to get my ninjas through~!
Donnie: Oh yeah I'm a fellow, know my way with machines~!
Raph: And I've got the most attitude out of the team~!
Mikey: I'm one of a kind, you know just where to find me when it's party time~!
Splinter: Well, I taught you every single skill you need~!
All the turtles: To be one lean, mean, green incredible team~!
All of them: Teenage mutant ninja turtles, teenage mutant ninja turtles, teenage mutant ninja turtles! Heros in a half shell, turtle power!
Me: *starts crying happily*
The turtles: O_o
Me: Ignore me, carry on with the episode...! *Still crying happily* The theme is so amazing...!
The turtles watch themselves spar.
Mikey: Woah, look how young we were!
Splinter: Yes, I believe we have aged quite a bit since the very first episode!
The scene shows the turtles and Splinter during their mutation day as they were eating worms and algae.
Raph: *gags* Ugh, I can't believe we used to eat the garbage!
Donnie: Well, turtles do eat worms and algae in the wild!
Leo: Ew, gross! Pizza is so much better! *Takes a bite of pizza*
Mikey: I actually kind of liked it!
Raph: You'd eat anything, Mikey
They keep watching as Splinter smiles fondly at the memory. He wraps his arms around his sons who smile as they hug. "Mutation day..."
Leo: We've come so far...
Mikey: I can't believe we're come so far~!
Splinter: Indeed *wipes tear from eye*
Splinter smiled as he watched himself re-tell the story of their mutation. The turtles. He couldn't believe how far they'd come from the beginning.
Leo: Sensei, I have a question
Splinter: What is it, Leonardo?
Leo: When you went to that pet store, what made you choose to buy turtles? Did you ever consider buying a dog or a cat or something?
Splinter: I like turtles
Raph: *shrugs* Fair enough!
Splinter winced a little as he watched himself mutate. The mutation had been quite painful. He was glad the turtles were only babies when it happened.
Donnie: We were so tiny!
Splinter: *smiles a little* Yes, you were
Leo: Think about it sensei, if you hadn't gotten mutated, you'd be Hamato Yoshi living in a dingy apartment with four baby turtles!
Splinter: Yes, I believe it would have been quite... boring.
Mikey: Would you still have taught is ninjitsu even if we were regular turtles? Would you have given us tiny weapons?
Splinter: Uh well...
Raph: Wait, here comes a good part!
The scene shows the turtles begging Splinter to let them go topside. The turtles laughed as they saw themselves doing the puppy faces.
Mikey: Never fails!
Splinter: *chuckles*
Donnie: Sensei, would you really have kept us in the sewers our whole lives?
Splinter: ......
The turtles: =_=
The next scene shows Splinter lecturing the turtles since they were going out for the first time. The turtles groaned.
Donnie: Well he's right, the bathrooms up there are filthy! *Shudders*
Splinter: Yes, which is why I told you to go before you left
The scene showed the turtles going on patrol. Donnie blushed when he saw April. Mikey smirked. "Donnie had a crush~!" Donnie gave Mikey a look.
The turtles remembered how amazed they were to see the real world. It had been awesome, and they had tried pizza for the first time.
Speaking of which...
Mikey: I can't believe it, we didn't discover the cheesy goodness of pizza till that night! Can you believe what we were missing?!
It showed April getting kidnapped as they wince. "That was hard to watch..." Leo mumbles as April nodded in agreement. "It was horrible, I was freaking out..."
The turtles and Splinter hugged April who hugged back. Leo then thought of something so he turned to April.
Leo: Hey April, how come you weren't scared of us when you first saw us?
April: I don't know, you guys seemed cool, and you did say save my life, so...
Donnie: True!
I suddenly teleported into the room. Well, that's all for today guys! The turtles aww. I laugh and turn to the screen
