Return to the Walls

POV; 1st (Y/N) 

The tough hands of the armored titan crashed against my back. My whole body ached, getting thrown not helping much.  I could hear the sound of wires, grapples, and voices outside even with my ears ringing. Strips of light peeked through the spaces between the titan's fingers. Someone's shadow blocked some of the spaces suddenly. There was what sounded like talking, harsh, soft, and then Bertholdt started to cry out. The armored titan shook suddenly. 

My head crashed down onto its muscle. Nobody ever said anything. By now, both of my legs had regenerated. The jerks were getting too powerful. Reiner's hand that I was back leaning on again opened. All I could see was a titan's widened mouth underneath me. My arms weren't back yet, only to my elbows. There was nothing I could do.

The slobbery jaws of the beast snapped shut, almost getting my leg as someone clutched my figure. They struggled to pull me up. A sudden scream made my ears worse. Something wet spattered onto the back of my head and I started to drop again. Jean's usual rose and oakmoss smell filled my nose. Two hands were wrapped around my waist, turning me around quickly. 

Finally, I had a good view of who grabbed me and what happened to them. There was half an arm cut off. Its white cuff made me instantly know who it was. Annie was extending her left arm, opposite of the now regenerating one, out to me. Jean stumbled to the ground and handed me to a screaming Loui. So many questions came from him. 

' How are you doing? '

' Are you okay? '

' Did they hurt you any more than this? '

' (Y/N), please! '

My lips curled,

" Shut up! My ears are ringing like crazy, I only have my legs to use, and now I'm going to be- "

Commander rode by. His arm had been severed just below the shoulder. 

" Retreat! Use this as a chance, "

Erwin bellowed. Loui grabbed me and heaved my body over his shoulder. The green-eyed boy sat me down on his horse with him. Reiner pulling small and big titans off himself. While we all charged forward, I couldn't help but glance back a few times. 

" Loui, pull back! "

The man did as told. A titan hit the ground right in front of us. That stupid horse of Loui's bucked back, sending both me and my partner onto the grass. It then galloped away. A loud squeal came from it as a titan fell on the animal. The feeling finally returned to my new hands. 

" Give me that ODM. I'm not going to risk you getting eaten, rookie. "

Loui nodded his head frantically and handed me the ODM. Right as I had put it on, the first thing to do was check the gas.

" You shit, I should've known! When I had to train your stupid self, you always used up too much gas! "

The recognizable stomp of a titan echoed behind us. Loui was shaking terribly, his breathing hectic.

' I'm sorry, (Y/N). '

' I love you. '

' I wish to see you again. '
