Hours before his mother hosted her garden lunch with her special guest, Lucifer was making his way to his cousin, who sounded extremely agitated over the phone. Having an uneasy Roman in the US was not good a good sign. His means of justice were considered gruesome to the Americans. His father, Illya, trained him in his own image, in which his son surpassed and adapted his own. With the mindset of a feared Russian pakhan and the heart of gold compliments of his mother, Roman was a walking contradiction. This was said of all the children raised under each crime family; all parents were immensely proud of their heirs.
Contacting the people Roman requested and dispatching them to the address given, Lucifer had an uneasy feeling. Over text in their own language, the promise of a talk was needed between the two.

Lucifer: Done.

Roman: Blagodaryu Vas. (Thank You.)  ETA?

Lucifer: 15.

Roman: Khorosho. (Good)

Lucifer relaxed in his seat and let his mind wander to his woman. Though he texted her before he spoke to Roman a few seconds ago, no reply came from her. Feeling self-conscious and paranoid about her changing her mind about being with him, he asked the guards watching over her about her status. The report brought both relief and worry to him. She got his text but refused to answer; they took note of her viewing his text then promptly switching off her phone.
Did the truth he told her cost him his relationship? What was she thinking? How much time should he give her? Everything was new to him, and he didn't know how to go about it. Amara was a great girl, one of a kind to him, and he knew how naturally protective she was.

He was scared.

He was scared that she would leave.

On top of that worry, the little information Eros shared with him so far on her mother and step-father wasn't turning out to be good. His headstrong woman will demand to know the results and act upon them for his sake.
His sake. There's that subject. He had to let her know that it will all be fine, no matter what happens.
Maybe they need some time away from it all. They started a new relationship amidst an ongoing takedown. Pressure from everywhere was on his shoulders, they were both trying to keep each other happy, and unknown factors kept coming in. Time alone was truly needed.
Going with the plan hastily formed in his head, he called his uncle Stephen to help, and he's always the one to help with last-minute things.

"It's been a while since this number showed up on my phone. How can I help you, Ray Junior?"

Lucifer grinned at the title his uncles gave him since he was a kid. It was pretty amusing to be called that when his features clearly showed his mother's influence and some of her actions were mimicked by him. Stephen and Gianni clarified the reasoning behind the name.
"You may be the male clone of Arianna Delacourde on the outside, but what lies behind your eyes is your father all the way. Dangerously Quiet. That's what you are. One trigger and Raizon Delacourde's son is unleashed." Gianni was the one who said so, with Stephen agreeing wholly. "Best of both worlds."

"Shit has been hectic. Sorry for calling you for a favor," he returned.

"No big. Things have been crazy for us out here too. The girls are in the city, so I'm fifty percent at ease. On my way to New York at the moment, Michael needs back up with Nico. The kid is on a rampage with the job Ray gave him."

"By the time you get there, you will only need the clean-up crew," Lucifer said with a laugh.

"You're right. So what's up? No school?"

"Roman called in, plus I have a schedule to complete. I need a cabin or house somewhere away from Boston. Somewhere to recharge. This weekend though."
