Mai's POV:
I hate mornings. I got up at five because of Haruki yelling at me. The only reason why I'm up is because Eijiro and Katsuki were picking me and Haruki up for rehearsal. I know this because Haru won't stop yelling about it.
"Mai, they're going to be here at any minute! I woke you up thirty minutes ago. Get up!" Haruki yelled at me trying to get me going. I got up out of bed and got on my grey Fabletics leggings and a black crop top. I threw on some fuzzy socks, black boots, and a light zip-up jacket. I saw Haruki running down the hall frantically, wearing her black Fabletics leggings and a white Nike crop top.
"Took you long enough. Now, c'mon. We're running late." she called, running down the hall. A shrugged and picked up my pace a bit, walking down the hall as well. As I walked down the hall, I decided to check my phone to see if I had any new notifications. I didn't.
Go figure on that one...
I got to the entrance of the building and walked out into the crisp autumn air. I watched Haru walk over to Eijiro and Katsuki, who were waiting by a red car. I waved to them as Haru yelled, "Good morning, Eijiro. Good morning, Katsuki."
"I told you not to call me that! And we were out here for five minutes. It took you long enough!" yelled Katsuki.
"Katsuki, please calm down. it's too early." Haruki said, having a calm yet stern tone in her voice. Katsuki paused for a second before huffing and shoving his hands into his pocket. This boy instantly stopped when Haru told him off. That seems like it doesn't happen.
"Seriously, you don't have to be so formal with us. Call me Kiri." i stared at him, trying to remind him of yesterday." or not. Whatever you chose." Eijiro said, giving us a shark-like smile. I smiled at him as I got into the car. Katsuki and Haru were already making their way in as Eijiro started the car and pulled out of our university's parking lot.
The drive to the diner was a bit on the quick side, or so it felt. Katsuki and Haru were conversing in a passionate conversation. Eijiro kept his focus on the road, at some points, joining in on the two's conversation. I just sat back and listened to the entire thing, wondering what Shoto was doing at this moment. We pulled up into the parking lot of a small diner.
I guess that's why we woke up so early...
We exited the car. I stayed behind the two conversing in their argument still. Eijiro stayed back with me, walking into the diner. When we sat down at our booth, I saw Denki run over to our booth, a smile bright on his face. I saw Izuku and Shoto appear behind Denki, walking over to us. He had flowers in his hand.
"Here," he said, holding them out to me, "I got you these. I thought they would be nice."
"Thank you, Shoto. That was very thoughtful of you." I said, taking the flowers from his hand and giving them a sniff. Carnations, my favorite. I gently placed them next to me, resting them up against the wall of the diner. As I did so, Shoto slid into the booth, sitting right next to me. Denki sat next to Katsuki and Izuku had to have a chair pull up next to the table.
