Mai's POV:
I woke up around 9:00, my arms wrapped around a slim figure, my face in his back. I glanced over to see Shoto sleeping, face facing the wall. I carefully got up, not wanting to wake him, and looked over at Haruki's bed. I saw that Katsuki and Haruki were still out, but Eijiro was awake. He was on his phone, his body facing Haruki. I walked over and placed my head onto his arm. He looked down at my head before moving to face me.
"Good morning, Goofball. How did you sleep?" He whispered as he sat up a little bit. I got up off of his arm, whispering back to him.
"About as much as someone who just lost a pet could. Do you want some coffee?" He nodded as I stood up. He got out of the bed and we both walked down to the kitchen. I saw Mike and Leslie. "Morning, Mama. Morning, Dad."
"Good morning, Mai. Are Haruki and the others still asleep?" Leslie asked. Both Eijiro and I nodded. "Okay. Well, we're going to be out for a little while. Stay here as long as you guys want. If you want you can stay until Sunday, since it's Friday, you can do just that." Leslie smiled and came over to me, giving me a hug. "Would you like a hug too, Eijiro?"
"I would love a hug, Mrs. Kasumi." He said as he walked over to her. Leslie wrapped her arms around Eijiro as he did the same with her, embracing each other. After his hug with Leslie, Eijiro shook Mike's hand.
"Let Haru know I like this one better than her ex. That Katsuki boy is good too." he said with a smile. He patted Eijiro's shoulder before both him and Leslie walked out the door.
"Oh, I'm so happy they like me!" Eijiro sighed before running around the living room and kitchen. I sat back and laughed at him. I made him his coffee as I made myself a tea. Handing him the mug of hot coffee, we went to sit in the living room. I'm not a real big fan of coffee, so tea works for me. We decided to turn on the Disney channel. We had it on as background noise while we talked a bit.
"So, they didn't like her ex?" Eijiro asked after taking a sip of coffee.
"No, not really. They liked him ever so slightly. But I think that it changed after they found out that she got drugged at a party. What made it worse was that he did nothing to help her. They were pissed off, to say the least." I said, bringing my cup up to my lips and taking in the hot tea.
"I'm sorry, what?" he choked a little bit. He looked back at me as I glanced at him. I put down my mug as I turned to face him on the couch, bringing up my legs to my chest.
"During our senior year of high school, we went to a senior party. As one does, y'know?"
"Yeah, I know. I went to a few my senior year as well."
"Yeah. So, we were dancing and having fun. We were both cheerleaders and her boyfriend was a sophomore in college, so he brought over a few guys that he made friends with on campus as well." I said.
