Helicarrier
Hallway

Dozens of SHIELD police escorted Loki and Lidianna, who were in handcuffs, but Loki was smiling. As they passed the Helicarrier lab, Banner stopped working on the chitauri scepter and looked up. Loki eyed him as he walked, nodding and smiling, and Banner rubbed his head.

Loki and Lidianna were now free from their cuffs and were contained in a large glass cell held by hydraulic rigs. As the two were looking around, Fury walked up to the control panel of the cell. "In case it's unclear. You try to escape. You so much as scratch that glass," Fury said before he pressed a button which opened up a hatch underneath Loki and Lidianna's cell. They peered as much as they could from the glass.

Without seeing, the sounds of gusting wind would make man shit their pants. Not a god, though. "Thirty thousand feet, straight down in a steel trap. You get how that works?!" Fury snapped then he closed the hatch and pointed at Loki and Lidianna. "Ant." He then pointed at the button which would drop Loki and Lidianna into the steel trap. "Boot."

"It's an impressive cage, truly. I have one almost just like it back home, for my three-headed dog, Cerberus. Grandfather- sorry, Odin Allfather got it for me from Hades. Quite proud actually," Lidianna said.

"Your point?" Fury asked.

"My point, Director Fury, is that, this is not built for us," Lidianna said.

"Built for something a lot stronger than you," Fury said.

"Oh, we've heard," Loki said then he looked into the security camera, knowing Banner was most likely watching. He then looked back at Fury. "The mindless beast, makes play he's still a man. How desperate are you, that you call upon such lost creatures to defend you?"

"How desperate am I? You threaten my world with war. You steal a force you can't hope to control. You talk about peace and you kill 'cause it's fun. You have made me very desperate. You might not be glad that you did," Fury explained while Loki and Lidianna smirked.

"Ooh. It burns you to come so close. To have the Tesseract, to have power, unlimited power. And for what? A warm light for all mankind to share, and then to be reminded what real power is," Loki said.

"Well, you let me know if Real Power wants a magazine or something," Fury said, smiling, then he walked off, leaving Loki and Lidianna in their glass cell. While Lidianna sighed, and paced around the cell, Loki looked back at the security camera, smirking.

Briefing Room

Steve and Alexandria watched until the monitor went black. Thor and Triston, who didn't even look, just listened, stood there, torn apart. They all just stood there in stunned silence.

Finally- "He really grows on you, doesn't he?" Banner asked.

"Loki's gonna drag this out. So, Thor, Triston, what's his play?" Steve asked.

"He has an army called the Chitauri. They're not of Asgard or any world known. He means to lead them against your people with Lidianna by his side. They will win him the Earth. In return, I suspect, for the Tesseract," Thor explained as Steve and Alexandria stared at The Asgardians like they were mental.

"An army?" Steve asked.

"From outer space?" Alexandria asked.

"So he's building another portal. That's what he needs Erik Selvig for," Banner said.
