The calm and still night air did nothing to comfort Lucy.
She tossed and turned restlessly, sleep not finding her only nightmares.
With a frustrated sigh she sat up in her bed, resting amongst the cool sheets and listening to the evening breeze that slipped in through her window.
Beside her Happy slept, not necessarily soundly but...better then her at least.
She glanced down at her right hand, running her left over her guild mark for bringing it to run along the soft feather of her necklace.
Everything was so...wrong.
Quietly Lucy slipped out of bed, being extra careful not to startle the sleeping cat beside her.
Softly she padded over to her work desk-which was littered in papers ranging form news clippings to various notes scribbled down by her own hand.
Her heart pang painfully when she caught sight of a poster on her desk.
Sitting down in her writing chair she reached for it and began to studied it in the dark- her eyes struggling to adjust to the dim light.

Last seen by the Fairy Tail guild Hall on August 26th X791 wearing a black vest with gold highlights- missing the right sleeve and white pants.

It had been a year.
So much had happened.
Tartaros had planned to unleash FACE, the dragons returned...
Fairy Tail was gone.
And through it all Natsu was gone.
Missing in action, disappeared without a trace, nothing left but the necklace around her throat.
"Oh Natsu," her voice was quiet and teary "where are you."

"Almost!" A firey fox pup squeaked as she leapt out of the way of a hand that tried to grab her.
Natsu's grunted in frustration, flapping his wings and bare feet landing on a tree branch.
He twisted his feet against the wood of the tree before flickers of blue flames licked at his feet.
Then just like that the dragon slayer shifted out of existence.
Or at least he seemed to.
The fox pup looked behind her as she leaped from tree to tree.
"Got yeah!"
Natsu reappeared in front of her, hand reaching and grabbing her from the scruff.
The two fell back to the ground, Natsu still lightly holding the fox pup.
