"Well why don't we get you some Olive Garden", he says

I nod my head and wave goodbye to my grandma; then I lock the front door.

He held my hand and walks with me. His hand was very cold against my palm.

He guides me to his car. It was an older model of a Toyota. The color was a bright red, I've always wanted a red car.

He opens the car door for me and I take a seat in the passenger seat. The interior was black and leather and the heater warmed the car.

He take his seat in front of the wheel, and starts the car. I noticed his large and veiny hands tightly gripping the steering wheel.

Those same hands that held my waist earlier today, pushing him closer against my warm body. It's like everything he does was intended to turn me on, but I can't shake this dark eerie feeling I get from him. How time does what he wants it to, how resourceful he is, how planned every action of his seems.

He clears his throat loudly and I was brought back to reality. Almost as if he knew I was drowning in suspense.

"Would you like to pick a song?" He says with his eyes still on the road.

I nod and plug his aux cord in my phones headphone jack. I shuffle through the music recommendations and pick a song. Trust by Brent faiyaz.

As the song played I was much more relaxed. Slowly starting to feel less suspicious about vinnie. I shook off the weird hunch I had about him. He seems like a nice guy, a little too nice but that's a good thing , right?

He made a turn and pulled into the olive garden's parking lot. He found a spot near the windows and walked me into the building.

There were happy couples, teenagers like vinnie and I, and families there to dine. I love seeing things like this, one of the reasons this is my favorite restaurant.

The waitress finds a table for us and vinnie pulls the chair out for me. He has very good manners.

I take a seat and the waitress hands us our menus. Vinnie puts his menu away.

I furrow my eyebrows, "You're not gonna eat?"

His eyes trail up to me, he laughs lowly before answering.

"I'm not hungry, feel free to take up for it"

"Hmph, ok", I respond

I settled on the chicken tetrazzini and extra bread sticks. The kind waitress had already brought a salad to our table; i ate it as I waited for my entree.

I listen to the laughter from the families, and the happy couples. I decided to make conversation with vinnie.

"So vinnie, why did I get lucky enough to go on a date with you?" I said while rubbing his leg with my foot.
