When you arrived at the water tower, you realized how high up it was.

"You guys live up there?" you asked, a bit worried.

"Yeah, it's a lot bigger on the inside, don't worry." Yakko didn't seems to understand what you meant.

The three began climbing up the ladder and you followed behind them. When you got to the top, you held onto the railing tightly and leaned over the edge a bit, you enjoyed the rush.

Yakko put his hand on your shoulder and pulled you back in a bit. "Careful toots, don't want you ending up like the last guy." he joked, and laughed at your concerned expression.

When you stepped inside you realized Yakko was serious about it being bigger on the inside. It was full of all sorts of crazy things, and you could see in one corner a ballpit, a top bunk bed, and a hammock. You wondered who on earth slept in a ball pit.

"We can play a board game, watch a movie, bake a cake... What do you guys wanna do?" Yakko asked everyone, mostly looking at you.

"Oh lets bake a cake!" Wakko said excitedly.

"Nooo, I wanna watch a movie, I'm tired." Dot said before plopping down face first on the couch.

"How about we make a cake, then watch a movie while it's in the oven, huh?" Yakko asked his siblings, hoping to make them happy.

"Fine, but I'm not helping." Dot mumbled into the couch.

Wakko had already run into the kitchen as soon as Yakko agreed to make a cake. He was grabbing all the ingredients and throwing them on the counter. Yakko was grabbing all the supplies before they fell, trying to keep the kitchen somewhat clean. You helped him set them all down on the counter.

"What kind of cake are we making?" you asked.

"Vallina." Wakko said, digging through the cabinets.

Yakko leaned over and whispered to you. "He means vanilla."

You nodded and laughed quietly to yourself as you looked through all the ingredients. Yakko set a big bowl on the table and you started pouring the ingredients in. As you guys made the cake, Wakko didn't help much besides throwing in other random sweets.

"Alright, I'll put this in the oven. Wakko, go help Dot pick a movie." Yakko told Wakko, who walked over to the couch where his sister was.

As Yakko put the cake in the oven, he burned his finger a bit. You heard him yelp and turned away from the cleaning you were doing. You hurried over to him, pulled his now gloveless, burned finger out of his mouth and put it under cold running water.

"You should have been using a mit." you said, worried but still scolding him.

"I know how to put a cake in without mits, I don't need them." he said, looking away from you. You hadn't noticed you were still holding his hand.

"Well, obviously you do." you said raising an eyebrow. You let go of his hand and let him hold it under the water for a bit longer.

You leaned against the counter as you looked at Yakko, he seemed a bit distracted, which may have been why he burned his finger. "You alright?"

He looked up at you, snapping out of his thoughts, and smiled at you. "Yeah, besides the finger."

You give him a worried look, and were about to tell him to be more careful when Dot called you guys from the living room.

"Coming!" Yakko shounted as he dried his hand and put his glove back on.

You both walk back over to the living room. You sat on the far left, and Yakko kind of scootched Wakko over so he could sit next to you. You didn't think much of it, and Wakko didn't seem to mind.

The movie you were watching was something Wakko & Dot picked out, so it was a bit childish, but still entertaining. You leaned over to Yakko & started talking quietly, as he wasn't too interested in the movie either.

"Do you always let them pick the movie?" you asked him, wondering if he watched stuff like this with them all the time.

"Yeah, they like it so I don't mind. Besides, it keeps them quiet." he whispers back at you.

You guys whispered amongst yourselves for a bit until Dot interupted.

"Alright lovebirds, this is the good part so SHHHHH." she said, not so quietly shushing you.

You started blushing at her calling you lovebirds, and Yakko let out a nervous laugh. You sat there silently for the rest of the movie. All of a sudden you were nervous. Was there some visible chemistry between you two? Or was Dot just being Dot? A lot of questions rushed through your head, and you realized you may have a bit of a crush on Yakko. As silly as it is, with all the flirty jokes he makes, you wonder of he actually likes you too.

You were so lost in thought you hadn't even noticed Yakko pulled the old 'pretending to stretch and then laying his arm around you' trick. You finally noticed when you leaned back a bit and his arm fell around your shoulders. Your face suddenly heated up, and you were too nervous to look up at Yakko, otherwise you would have seen that he was just about as nervous.

He half expected you to swat his arm away or something, he was always being flirty with girls but he rarely met any on the lot that were actually his age, let alone any who might even reciprocate his feelings.

Long story short he didn't expect you to actually let him put his arm around you, but he opened this can of worms and now he had to lay in it.

You both sat there, not paying attention to the movie. His arm was around your shoulder, and you decided to be bold and lean your head against him. Eventually you both relaxed, and by the time the movie ended you were both quite tired.

Yakko awkwardly removed his arm from around you, turned off the tv and went to pick up his two sleeping siblings and bring them to bed. You watched him as he carried them to bed, you thought he was such a cute older brother, and you hadn't realized you were staring until he smirked at you when he walked by. You averted your gaze as he walked into the kitchen to check on the cake and make sure the oven had turned off after the timer ran out. He then walked over and sat down on the couch next to you.

"I'll leave it in there, I'll let them eat it tomorrow for breakfast." he said and then turned to you. At first he seemed confident, like he was planning to tell you something, but then he looked away and rubbed the back of his neck. He noticed the clock on the wall and turned back to you.

"It's pretty late, do you... maybe wanna stay the night?" he asked you, a bit hesitantly.

You were taken back by the question, but realized that it is pretty late to be walking all the way home. "Are you sure? I don't wanna intrude."

Yakko shook his head. "Nonsense. You should stay, it's safer." He didn't wait for a response before getting up and getting a blanket for you. "You can sleep here on the couch." He handed you the folded blanket and sat back down next to you.

You suddenly weren't tired anymore, and you didn't quite want to say goodnight to Yakko yet. "Do you maybe wanna watch a bit more tv before we hit the hay?"

He smiled at you, as if he was thinking the same thing. He grabbed the remote and when he sat back down you quickly wrapped the blanket around the both of you. He looked over at you with a small smile, not a smirk or cheeky grin like he usually has, but a sweet smile.

You guys watched tv together under the blanket for a while and before you knew it, Yakko was asleep against your arm. You grabbed the remote to turn the tv off and gently laid him down along the couch. You just laid there, looking at him for a while. You had just met him but he was one of the sweetest friends you'd ever had. You slowly closed your eyes and fell alseep.
