You set down the last dish and dried off your hands, Yakko closed the fridge and you both walked over to the couch. Wakko had once again chosen to watch Shrek 2, which didn't surprise anyone.
"I don't wanna watch this again." Dot whined and tugged on Yakko's pant leg.
"Dot, Wakko didn't want to watch the My Little Pony movie, but he did, and now you need to watch the movie he picked out." he told her as he sat down on the couch next to you.
Dot crossed her arms and pouted as the movie started, but she wasn't upset for too long, even after watching it 5 times, it was still a good movie. You all sat through the movie without interuption. It had become a norm for you and Yakko to almost cuddle during each night's movie, he would put his arm around you and you would lean on him. Dot and even Wakko knew you both liked each other, but neither of you ever said anything, besides Yakko's constant jokes.
After the movie had ended you all got ready for bed. You spent about every other night at the Warner tower, and you even brought your big beanbag over so that you'd have a regular place to sleep. It was next to Yakko's ball pit on the opposite side as Wakko's hammock. You helped Yakko tuck Dot and Wakko into bed and then plopped onto the beanbag, sinking into it. Yakko crawled into his ball pit and you leaned over to look at him.
You whispered to him as to not bother Wakko and Dot. "Is that ball pit even comfortable?"
"Ehh, oddly enough, yeah it is. Why, do you want some company over there?" he asked with a smirk.
You scoffed and looked away, blushing a bit. "No, I'm fine, thank you."
Yakko leaned his head on his chin as he looked at you. "Aw, but what if you have a nightmare?" he said in a baby-voice.
You turned back over to face him. "If you want to come over here then just ask." you said, still whispering.
He quickly jumped out of bed and onto your lap. "You don't have to tell me twice."
You blused and push him off to the side, pulling the blanket out from under him and covering the both of you. If you've ever laid with someone on a beanbag, it's impossible to not be right up close to each other, so if you had turned to look at him your faces would have been inches apart.
"Goodnight Yakko." you whispered to him.
"Night ___." he whispered back, closing his eyes. You were both soon asleep.
When morning arrived, you were both entertwined with each other. Yakko was hugging you and you had your face nuzzled in his chest. You were the first to wake up, blushing at the closeness and at the fact that Yakko was apparently very cuddly in his sleep. You tried to wiggle put of his grasp but he started to wake up.
"Aw, leaving so soon?" he jokingly cooed, half asleep. He noticed that he was hugging you and quickly let you go, his face becoming red. "Sorry..."
"No no, it's fine." you said, awkwardly. You sat up on the beanbag and stretched, Yakko covered his face with the blanket as you went to open the curtains a little.
The soft light shined through the room and Yakko slowly poked his head out from under the blanket. You walked over to the kitchen, booping Yakko on the nose as you walked by. He quickly jumped up and followed you into the other room.
"So what do you wanna make for breakfast?" you asked him without turning around, because you could head him running up behind you.
"How about waffles." he suggested, pulling out the box from the freezer.
"Sure." you took the box out of his hand and popped 4 waffles into the toaster.
When Wakko woke up to the smell of waffles, he quickly ran over to the kitchen and you gave him the first 4. You made a new more for you, Yakko and Dot, and Wakko was already finished by the time you sat down.
