Sarah!

Ahh, the sound of my mother yelling my name in the morning is what I LIVE for (hint the sarcasm). The sweet sweet sound of a restful sleep being ruined by the sound of my angry mother yelling at me to get up at 6 am on a Monday morning. I lay there for another 10 minutes then I hear my mom barge into my room and I feel the rays of the light bulb hit my skin as I groan in agony while my eyes adjust to the light coming in from the window. "Sarah.Angelina.Walker, you better get your butt out of bed this instant and get ready for school". Oh yeah, that's right, School, my worst nightmare, the one place that I couldn't escape from my problems. The worst part is: I start at a new school today, that's right, I'm a transfer student. Being a transfer student means that I will most likely be bullied until they find a new person to mess with.

I get out of bed and look in the mirror, my fair skin and green eyes look paler and duller than usual from the endless nights of little to no sleep. My eyebags look like they are holding on for dear life with how little sleep I've been getting lately, I stink of sweat so I definitely need a shower. I grab my towel and some clothes then head into the bathroom and hang the clothes on the door.  I hop in the shower for about 15 minutes then get dressed. As I'm brushing my teeth and drying my hair, I hear my mother yell from downstairs, "Sarah! Hurry up we're going to be late! I have an interview today and you have to get to school!" I respond with an "Ok mom I'm almost done!" then I hurried to get my stuff together. Ten minutes later we were in the car on our way to Lyndon B. Johnson High school, where a new journey would start for me, hopefully, better than the last one.

We arrive at the school where we see a lot of students crowding the front of the school. I say to myself, "Great, a grand entrance, just what I needed" and get out of the car. I say to my mom, "See you later after school, Good luck at the interview" she nods and drives off. I push my way through the crowd into the building where I immediately get lost on my way to the office. I end up bumping into someone in my futile attempt to find my destination in which I failed so many times. I say to her, "I am so sorry, I'm so lost in this building" to which she replied "No it's totally alright, and lost you say? I assume you're looking for the office?" I nod at her question and she says "ahh I see, It's just right this way, come with me" and I nod again before following her. We reach a sign that says 'Principal's office' and the girl takes me to see the secretary. The secretary sees the girl and her eyes light up "Alison!, so nice to see you, dearie" to which Alison replies with a small smile "Hiya Mrs. Anthony, good to see you as well! it seems we have a new student that needs her papers". Mrs. Anthony looks over to me and says, "Ahh yes it does seem that way, what is your name dear?" to which I respond "Sarah Walker, ma'am". She looks through her file cabinet until she stops on what seems to be my file and pulls out some papers then hands them to me. "These are the papers that tell you your classes and your locker combo as well as some other stuff for your parent to read over". I nod my head and say thank you before Alison tells her "We must be getting to class, thanks, Mrs.Anthony!" then we leave the office.

As we walk through the hallway, Alison is looking at my paperwork and she says "We have three classes together this semester but good news is that the others aren't too far apart from each other". I nod feeling happy inside that I have a new friend with who I can have classes on my first day. I know this is going to be a great year already just by meeting Alison on my first day.
