Chapter 11: Girls' night
I've never really had female friends with whom I could go out to shop, watch movies, or have just a normal girls' night with because I've been either too shy or no one wanted to talk to me. I'm glad I bumped into Ali that day because she's definitely making an impact on me this semester and in my life. But anyway back to the story...hehe
30 minutes later
*Riiiiiiiiiiing* I hear the doorbell go off instantly causing me to get up and run to check who's outside. Lo and behold it's Alison and she has two big bags on her arm with a bottle of tequila in her other hand. I look at her in confusion to which she just rolls her eyes and laughs as she walks into the house. We go into the living room where she sets the bags on the couch and looks at the TV "Anything good on tonight?" I shake my head and chuckle "Only reruns of The Vampire Diaries tonight haha" "Well I guess that's not so bad, right?" I shake my head in response
"Girllllllll we are gonna look so hot tonight! It's gonna be so much fun!" I smile"Yeah it's gonna be fun but is this dress too much?" I ask showing her the black strapless dress that stops right above my knee and there is a flower pattern along the seam. "Hell no, it's not too much, if anything it's not enough!" she hands me a pair of 6-inch stilettos "put these on, they'll go fantastic with this dress" I look at Ali surprised, she gives me a look that says, "I told ya so" then looks at her phone and says "come on we're gonna be late!" as she drags me by the wrist out to the car. Thankfully I wasn't clumsy and I didn't fall over while following her (cause that's totally happened before...um yeah...wink)
20 minutes later we arrive at a club called Fusion. Ali told me all about this club when we were at school and said she wanted to go there but not by herself so I guess she got her wish. The entrance is packed with so many guys and girls wearing dresses with heels or buttoned-up long sleeve shirts and shorts. The bouncer looks like he's a little bit older than us but not by much, he's got slightly broad shoulders and looks to be about 6 feet tall. We stand in line for another 10 minutes until we get to the front and that's when Ali gets excited and hugs the bouncer tight and he hugs her back with the same energy. To say I'm confused at the sight is an understatement "This is my brother, Alec he just moved back from college a few months ago!" I nod and he smiles, making me blush but I keep my composure and put my hand out for him to shake "Hi I'm Sarah, Ali's friend" "correction, best friend~don't forget that" Ahh but of course, I can't forget the fact that she's the best if not the only friend I made since I started at this school. "HEY, WOULD YA MOVE IT ALREADY?!!" came from behind us alongside other complaints about the line not moving. Alec passes us two badges which, to my surprise were VIP passes for the club. He guides us through the door "Go to the curtain at the end of the hall and show the guy your badge, have fun ladies~" he says then looks at me winking "Hopefully we'll meet again" then he turns to the people waiting outside impatiently might I add but I don't quite care because tonight is the night to think about me and no one else. And that's precisely what I'm gonna do, only thinking about me, myself, and I.
Sorry it took me so long to publish this chapter, I've been having some major writer's block but hopefully it'll turn around soon <3 love y'all
