Seamus' POV:

Dude just date her.

She likes you a lot.

I heard that the new girl wants to he with you.

So there it went.

I got pressured by society into doing something I really don't feel comfortable doing. Said thing being; dating a girl.

I discovered a part of me; I discovered my gay.

I knew that I was different but I never knew what it was; so I just followed what every boy did. Which was having constant girlfriends.

Though ever since I discovered that I was a homosexual I tried to ignore it and tried to change that by dating even more girls. I never had to have sex with them because I was never prepared.

Now my friends and family are making me date this girl with the name of Maritza.

Maritza.

Not only that; but I fell in love with my best friend, Aleks, who is openly gay. Though he's obsessing over this one kid at his work.

Everything is a big mess but I will work through this; it can't be that hard dating a girl while being in love with my best friend who is obsessed with some random guy he doesn't even know.

I walked into the library; knowing Maritza I knew she was gonna be in here.

Walking into the back where the tables were I saw Maritza sitting silently; I am guessing she was drawing since she used the pencil slowly and softly against the paper she was using.

I took in a deep breath and walked closer to the female concentrated on her work.

"Uhm, hey Maritza"

She slowly looked up and placed her pencil onto the paper to look at me. I saw that she was drawing a beautiful girl sitting down on the edge of a cliff. The characters hair was seemed to have been moving with the wind for it was going the opposite direction she was facing.

Smiling I sat down next to her and said "That is a very beautiful drawing you have there" She looked at me and smiled "Thank you"

I looked away from the drawing; I need to keep this act up to seem normal.

"Can I ask you something?" I asked, she looked at me confused and nodded. "Uhm, I wanted to know if you wanted to go on a date with me?"

She raised her eyebrow and glared at me; "You're kidding right?"

My eyes widen and started to nervously ramble "Uh, no its not. But, I mean if you don't want to you don't have to I just wanted to kno-"

She covered my mouth and laughed "Yes Seamus, I'll go on a date with you"

I smiled and slowly removed her hands from my mouth. "Well, uhm. I'll see you later i need to go right now" I quickly said, she nodded and continued drawing.

As I walked away i knew that I have made a terrible mistake. I don't want to hurt Maritza; all I want is to normal.
