Seamus' POV:

"So why didn't you tell me about this? You know I am gay as well. It couldn't get anymore obvious than it already is," Aleks said as he crossed his arms.

I sighed and looked down at my feet.

He does have a point..

"I don't know..."

I felt Aleks' gaze on me, I don't know what he's thinking honestly. He's probably upset at me, maybe disappointed or shocked?

I don't know.

"Look, I understand. I've been there before, the only difference is that no one accepted me once I actually did come out," Aleks told me as he sat on the couch, I sat next to him and smiled.

"I'm sorry that I didn't tell you. I guess I didn't really thought about what you would think. What you would do...It was stupid of me..."

Aleks placed his hand on my knee and softly whispered, "I understand, I just got upset because we're best friends and we're supposed to tell each other everything right?"

Suddenly he moved so he could be facing me as he grabbed tightly on my shoulders.

"You were hiding something major like your sexuality from me, who knows what else you're hiding."

"Seamus?"

I realized that I zoned out a bit.

"What? Oh yeah. I assure you that this is the only major thing I've been keeping away. I don't think that anything else is a secret", I told him so he could calm down for a bit.

Aleks smiled at me and hugged me tightly.

"You can tell me anything" he whispered and kissed my cheek like he always does when we finish having a serious conversation.

He was always so caring, there are times where I think they're signs of something else.

Whatever.

I already talked to him about it, though...Even though I did the feeling of uneasiness was still in the pit of my stomach.

"Seamus, come over here!" I heard Aleks scream from his room.

I was in the middle of completing my homework when his scream startled me.

"What?!" I screamed back.

"Hurry!"

I got up from the table I was sitting on and ran to his room. I entered his room but he wasn't there so I went into his bathroom. Though when I entered I wasn't expecting to see Aleksandr's hand bleeding.

"Oh Jesus what the fuck did you do?" I asked as I turned the sink on.

"I was shaving and my razor fell and when I caught it I accidentally cut myself."

I looked at him exasperatedly and slowly put his hand on the warm water.

"You make no sense, but I have to take care of your hand before it gets infected," I told him under my breath.

Fortunately, the cut wasn't too deep so it would be less painful for Aleks and it would be easier for me to help him.

"Give me the first aid kit," I ordered and he used his good hand to pull it out from behind his mirror.

"Alright give me the alcohol."

Aleks was hesitant at first, but I already pulled his hand out of the water.

Snatching it away I informed, "It might hurt a little, so don't scream."

I got closer to Aleks and he laid his head on my shoulder.

"Ready?"

I felt his nod and I put some alcohol on one of the cottons in the kit. Here we go.

I started cleaning his hand and he bit the cloth of my shirt, feeling his nails clawing my side I internally laughed.

After disinfecting it I placed a bandaid over it and said "Done."

Though after I said I was finished, Aleks didn't move.

"Aleks?"

"You're warm..."

His comment startled me. He moved his head away from my shoulder and checked out the bandaid I placed over his wound.

"Band-Aids don't fix everything," he told me with a smile.

"Hey, be happy that I helped because if it was you alone that hand wouldn't be there because the doctor would've fucking chopped it off," I remarked.

Aleks laughed and looked at his hand again.

"It didn't hurt like I thought it would've hurt," he commented, more like he said it to himself and I just happened to hear it.

He's so cute.

How much longer am I gonna last before I break and tell him?

"Seamus..."

I looked at Aleks who suddenly got closer.

"What are you thinking about when you zone out?"

"Nothing. I just happen to stare into space."

"Lies."

He caught me off guard.

"We just told each other that we'll tell each other everything, but you keep lying to me"

Fuck he caught on.

"It isn't important."

"Yes it is. Why won't you just tell me?"

The way his voice changed, it was almost like he wanted to cry. He knows I can't say no when he gets like that. I need to make an excuse. Something.

"Aleks, I just have a lot on my min-"

"Who is it?"

Aleks got closer to me, "Who is it?"

He looked at me straight in the eyes. His deep, chocolate eyes that I love stare right at me.

"You."

"Me?"

"I...love you..."
