I spent the rest of the day with paranoia, maybe it was just me. But I'm pretty sure that there was someone following me, I don't know who but I know that it was someone. I'm determined on finding out if I'm right or I'm just insane.
Walking to my last class I felt someone tap my shoulder, jumping I quickly turned around with a fist in the air.
"Seamus!" I heard a scream, I realized that it was Jordan with his arms up in defense. I stopped once I realized who it was. Playing it off as a joke I laughed and said "Calm down red cap" and playfully flicked his cap off of his head.
Jordan didn't seem to like that so he picked up his cap and placed it back on his head. "Where is Maritza? I would figure she's with you since you guys are always together"
Jordan looked at me confused and asked "Would you rather her be here?" he asked. I shrugged and said "I don't know"
Jordan sighed and your closer to me, "I'm just going to cut to the chase"
"Wha-"
"I've noticed that you've been acting all out of it lately. Are you okay?"
I didn't think he'd ask me something like that.
"Jordan. I'm fine"
"Dern sure doesn't seem like it"
I sighed, the bell rung a second time. What's Jordan's problem anyway? Since when did he start caring?
"Look I got to go alright?"
Before I started to walk away he said something that made me stop in my tracks.
"You don't plan on hurting her, aren't you?"
I guess he knew I'd stop so he turned my way. "Right?" He asked again. I didn't answer right away, the only reason for this is because I was confused by the random question.
I wouldn't hurt Maritza, why would he ask something like that?
"What do you mean?" I finally answered after a few seconds.
Jordan just said "She has a good heart" and started walking away.
I was very confused, though a sense of guilt hit me.
after all, I am using her to hide my gay.
God dammit.
What am I doing?
