He's tugging on his tie as he drives. I'm guessing he's doing it subconsciously. He doesn't look like the type to wear ties and seeing him wear one when I opened the door surprised me a bit. But then again I probably surprised him with the whole my zipper is stuck and I'm not wearing a bra thing. Feeling his warm hands on my middle and back made me shiver and I really hope he didn't notice.
"You're messing up your tie." I tell him. Luke glances at me and bites his bottom lip which is probably the hottest thing ever.
"I'm not much of a tie wearer. It's suffocating." He says with a shrug.
"I can tell. I'll fix it before we go in." I say brushing a lock of my hair back. "They're very strict with thier dress code."
"Yeah I know. Ron warned me he would kick me out if he saw my ripped jeans." I laugh. So that's why he's not wearing them.
"You know Ron?" I ask. He arches an eyebrow at me.
"Yeah, why do you?" I nod and smile.
"Said the first meal I had there would be free. Is that what he offered you too?" Luke blushed. "I'll take that as a yes." I say with a light laugh. "It's okay, it's a good place and I would never go there and pay money. His prices are expensive." I whisper like Ron might here us from up the block. Luke laughs.
We find parking easily and as we get out of the car, Luke walks around the end and waits for me. I let my eyes trail up his tall skinny frame. He's rubbing the back of his neck nervously and pursing his lips. He's starting to walk away but I tug on his tie. "I said I would fix it remember?" I say with a smile. Luke stares at me wide eyed and swallows, his Adam's apple bobbing up and down. I quickly straighten his tie and smile again, walking away. I love leaving him breathless.
We are seated rather quickly. Looks like Ron's waiters were out on the look for us. Luke tugs at his collar but the tie remains straight. I try not to laugh at how nervous and fidgety he is as we both order a glass of water. "So err..." Luke says glancing around the room as I gaze over the menu selection. "How was work?" He asks quietly.
"The usual. Flashing lights, modeling."
"You're a model." Luke asks. I laugh and he looks confused.
"No I take photos of the models. Sorry." I apologize with a shrug.
"You could be a model." I arch an eyebrow at him over the menu. "I mean you're really... You've got great..." He stops and bites his lip again.
"Thanks.. I think." I say with a laugh. Luke grins. "What are you getting?" I ask him. Luke picks up the menu and scratches his head.
"Oh um I don't know." He says shrugging.
"When I came here with Wren we both ordered lobster. Phenomenal. The only time I'll eat lobster is when it's free." Luke smiles at me but looks a bit distracted. "By the way those texts.. The ones with the winky faces?" I ask. Luke looks up at me and nods. "Wren was adding those faces. I was taking photos and shouting my replies back to him and he kept adding those faces. Though I did like the one he put after I'll eat anything." Luke blushes, hard. Which makes me laugh.
"You work with Wren?" He asks. I nod, still smiling.
"He's my assistant." I shrug. "When I told him I was going on a date he almost didn't beleive me."
"Do you have a lot of one night stands?" He pauses, eyes wide. "Shit. Wait, I didn't mean it like.. Like that. I'm sorry." I brush it off with a wave of my hand.
"Doesn't matter cause it's true. I'm not a dating kind of person. I told you this."
"So you're a one night stand kind of person. Wait, fuck.." Luke murmurs staring at his menu with wide blue eyes, looking like he wanted to hit himself over the head. I smiled.
