I almost didn't see him, which is a bit surprising. I spotted him pretty easily in the club last night I don't know why a coffee house setting would be any different. I knew he must have been out on the look for me but I was ten minutes late, having gone over the allotted time I had set to roll out a couple more shots before lunch break. Nobody would dare complain though or remind me of the time which is why I went over it. It wasn't until Wren came over scolding me about overworking myself and the models that I glanced at the clock.

"Shit." I muttered shoving the camera into his hands. "My phone." I murmured rushing over to where I had draped my jacket over my chair.

"Huh-uh, yeah get going missy. Say hello to impossibly blue eyes for me." I rolled my eyes at him as I fluffed out my hair before grabbing Luke's phone off the makeup counter and striding toward the door.

He was sitting in the back of the coffee shop spinning his mug in front of him slowly. He was so concentrated on the task he hadn't noticed me walk in. I took this time now, while I was walking up to him, to study Luke. I wasn't lying about those impossibly blue eyes of his. Even the sky couldn't compare to the color of his eyes. That blond hair of his looked messy and slightly damp, like he had just taken a shower and then began running his hands through it over and over and over again. He was chewing on his bottom lip nervously, pulling it between his teeth over and over. It made me a little anxious because of the lip ring he wore. It was one of the things that drew me to him. That and those tight skinny jeans. It made it hard to guess his age because he does look more like a teenager than a twenty year old but you never know.

When I dropped down in the seat in front of him, Luke was startled of course and jostled the cup in his hands spilling whatever was inside the mug over his left hand. Apparently the liquid was hot.

"Fuck." Luke muttered grabbing some napkins nearby and pressing them against his hand and then the table. "Camilla." He stated.

"Luke." I replied. He just sort of stared at me with those eyes of his and it was kind of hard for me not to shift uncomfortably under his gaze. "My phone?" I questioned. Luke flicked his eyes down to his hands on the table. He swabbed up the rest of the liquid and crumbled the napkins in his hand before placing it to the side and reaching down into his pocket.

Skinny jeans again. I had seen that they were ripped at the knees when I walked up. He was also wearing a stupid jacket under the jacket he was already wearing. I didn't know if he was just someone who got cold easily or he thought it looked cool. I mean, it did on him. Most guys can't pull that off but he can. He was also wearing some black shirt with writing on it I couldn't read. "Here." He says. I hold out my hand for it but he doesn't slid it over or place it into my hand.

"I'm waiting." I tell him just in case he didn't understand the gesture. I watch him swipe his tongue along his bottom lip before replying.

"Go out with me." It's not a question it's more like a statement or a command. I cock my head.

"Is this some sort of condition to get my phone back because I'm not liking it." I reply making a grab for it but he pulls back quicker than I can move and holds the phone at a dangerous height above his head.

"Yes it's a condition. Go out with me." I stand up to see if I can reach the phone but Luke stands up as well. I tilt my head up slightly to look at him and frown.

"Okay now that's just not fair." Luke grins and it's so cute because there's a dimple there I didn't notice before. I grab his arm and try to pull it down to where I can grab my phone but Luke is stronger than he looks. "Come on One Night Stand Boy, let's not make a scene." I say sternly. Luke narrows his eyes a little.

"Luke, call me Luke." Sighing I roll my eyes.

"Luke baby, let's not make a scene." I reply batting my eyelashes at him. Either Luke isn't falling for my charm or he really wants to go out with me, which just isn't going to fly.

"Go out with me. It's not that hard." He says motioning for me to sit down again. Grinding my teeth and sighing, I sit. Luke sets himself back down on the chair as well and is careful to keep the phone out of my reach.

"I don't go out with guys Luke." He shrugs.

"So let's change that." I laugh. I didn't mean to but I did. Luke doesn't look embarrassed though or upset.

"You're going after the wrong girl here Luke. I'm not the kind of girl you want in your life." Luke rubs his chin as he stares at me. He doesn't say anything for an unbearably long time before finally he leans in, folds his hands on the table in front of us and looks me deep in the eyes.

"No, you're exactly the kind of girl I need in my life." Need? What does he mean? Why would he need me? I don't know how to respond which is a first for me. Instead I glance down at his mug.

"Is this tea?" I question. He doesn't seem surprised at my change in subject. With a sharp nod of his head I pick up the mug and bring it to my lips taking a sip. Jasmine. He's drinking jasmine tea. That's my favorite. I look at him skeptically over the mug before tasting it again. Definitely Jasmine. "Okay." I reply setting down the mug.

"Look I.. Wait. Did you just agree?" He looks a little shocked, blown away to be more exact.

"Isn't that the answer you wanted?" I question arching an eyebrow.

"Yeah!" He says breathlessly. "I just expected you to put up a better fight." I laugh and watch a small smile creep across his face.

"Well I have to get back to work and I can't sit here and argue with you all day about whether or not going out with me is a bad idea. So if saying yes gets me my phone quicker. Hell, why not." As I speak I pull his phone out of my pocket and hold it out to him. Luke looks from the phone up to me then back to the phone as he slowly brings out mine again. We hand them over at the same time. "So where we going Luke baby?" I question.

"I didn't think I would get this far." Luke murmurs almost to himself before quickly correcting what he had just said. "I mean, I'll think of something." I grin and stand up.

"My place, seven o'clock on the dot. Otherwise I lock you out and this never happened." Luke nods quickly standing with me.

"Wait, your number." He says catching my arm as I spin around to walk away. I look at his hand on my elbow and move my eyes up to meet his.

"You already have it. Recent phone calls remember?" He lets go of me and nods. "Seven o'clock." I remind him as I walk away. "On the dot?"

"On the dot." He repeats. I smile and stop by the door.

"Bye Luke baby." I say blowing him a kiss and walking out the door back toward the pristine white building where I work. I don't look back but I just know he's standing there by that table in the coffee shop still half stunned. I laugh at the thought.
