24: the best option

       It was almost three in the morning and I suddenly woke up from sleeping when I heard the sound of someone shutting the door of my room. I was completely confused when I found myself laying on the bed with the blanket around my body. I looked around the room to see if there was Heeseung around me, but he wasn't with me.

I sighed heavily while pinching my head when I realized that the unexpected meeting of us in Bali and the confession he made were just a dream. After I changed my position by sitting on the bed, I reached for my phone, and read the latest text that Jake sent to me before I fell asleep.

As I was about to answer him, my finger stopped typing when I saw him walking into the room, was out of energy.

A little smile formed on his face when our gazes met and after seconds, he broke it off by getting on the bed and resting his head on my lap before shutting his eyes tightly.

He didn't say too much after he went back from his work. All he did was rest on my lap and take a nap without showering himself first. I wanted to shake him off me, but I put that thought away because he looks so exhausted.

"Jake."

He hummed in response.

"Don't you think you should take a shower before going to the bed?"

Jake looked at me with an evil smile formed on his face. I was confused by the smile he gave me. I raised my eyebrows as he pouted his lips.
I understood the gaze he gave me. He wanted something, but I didn't get what he meant. I went silent and pretended as if nothing happen after that.

"Please?"

He asked me softly as he changed his position by facing me and soon after that, he reached his hand to his t-shirt and took it off right in front of me. I gasped at the sudden move from him. I didn't expect that this would happen and it made my face flushed, especially my cheeks.

He talked to me but I couldn't hear him well because I got so distracted when he was shirtless. The only thing I could think about was to control myself from flushing over him, but the longer he was with me, the longer my cheeks redden.

"Answer me, Jina."

Before I could answer him, he wrapped his arm around my waist and lifted me causing me to almost scream so loud. He got off the bed, carried me outside of the balcony, and went to the pool.

"No. Not again."

I shook my head, hit him on the shoulder while asking him to let go of me, but he refused to listen to me. he was so exhausted earlier but when it came to teasing me, he became more energetic than he used to be. he laughed evilly and teased me by trying to throw me into the pool.

"Jake!"

I wrapped my arm around his neck and buried my face in his shoulder when he spun me around. I shouted next to his ear and expected him to let me free but he would never listen to me. I looked at him straight into his eyes and shook my head.

"It's 3 am, Jake. it's not the time to play."

I screamed harder as he stood at the edge of the pool, and spun me around again.

"Don't you want me to take a shower?" He asked me sarcastically.

" Yes, but not with me," I replied to him desperately.

He carried me tighter,

"Let's shower together."

Without hesitation, he pulled me closer, and jumped into the pool together. I was nervous when I accidentally let go of him and couldn't reach my feet on the floor. I saw him swimming towards me, and pulling me out from the water with his arm still wrapped around my waist.
