(Continues from when EnderSight exits the War Zone)

I watched with wide eyes as EnderSight collapsed on the ground. Just before she hit the dirt, StoneDirt caught the goddess, and Grey rushed to her side to start healing her. I walked over to the portal that led to the War Zone.
"Huh. The portal's still here." I said, walking around it.
"And?" ShadowFlame snapped, impatient and probably annoyed that I could still be calm and collected at a time like this.
"It means that either it has magic holding it open, or Benny's still alive." I mused, running my right index finger over the side of it. No spark of magic came from it, even when I concentrated. I stepped back. "But EnderSight would've had to have killed him for her to be able to exit, or vice versa."
"Hazlntchi," FlyCraft suddenly said nervously. "you should probably get away from the portal." At this, most everyone glanced in my general direction, and their gazes of concern or confusion changed to fear. I looked at her.
"Huh?"
"NOW!" She cried loudly. Panicked, I whirled around, only to have a strand of black magic yank me towards the portal.
"Shit!" I exclaimed, and aimed my cannon blaster at it, then fired. Nada. Then commences the long string of profanity that follows.
Oh Hazlntchi~ I heard Benny's unmistakable voice in my head. Don't you want to finish this? To end this war? I could've killed FlySight if I wanted to, but you're far more powerful. You could finish me off if you wanted to. You just have to enter the War Zone. You know what will happen if you surrender, anyway.
I felt myself being drawn in by Benny's voice, and found that what he was saying, I was agreeing with. I stopped struggling, and the magic released me. I put one foot in.
"Hazlntchi, what are you doing?!" WindStorm cried, fear evident in her voice. I looked at her as my dark side came out, making my entire robotic eye turn blood red, and the silvery metal turn a dull pitch black.
"Finishing this war." With that, I walked straight into the portal.

I lunged out of the portal, racing as fast as I could towards my side. Once there, I collapsed to my side to start choking up blood. I repeatedly tried to get up, but failed every time. Grey ran over to my side.
"Oh fuck. Hazlntchi, how many lives did you lose?" She more demanded than asked. She knows that this is what happens when I lose a life. I tried to talk, but only succeeded in puking up more of the thick red liquid.
"Scatra! Answer me right now, damnit! HOW MANY?!" She demanded. I stopped for a second, and looked up at her as black spots started to appear in my vision.
"Five..." I managed to croak out, before passing out. The last thing I saw was Grey's terrified and shocked expression.

Beep.
Beep.
Beep.
That's all I heard. Fuck, that beeping is annoying as hell! SHUT UP!
As my vision came into focus, I found myself in a purely white room, with my arms and legs cuffed onto a table with my limbs spread out like a starfish. I looked around, and saw EnderSight sitting at the window by what I presumed to be a control center, looking slightly depressed.
'Hey. How are you feeling?' I heard her speak in my mind. I groaned slightly, feeling my muscles tense.
'Like shit.' I replied, earning a small chuckle from the blackette. 'What's wrong? You look... sad.'
She sighed. 'I... I'll tell you later. I think you're not gonna like it, and I don't want it bearing down on you along with everything else.' It worried me that her speech pattern had changed. Normally, there'd be little to no contractions or combined words. That didn't worry me most though.
Normally, the only people allowed to stay with a patient as long as they want is the other life/lives of the person. So...
Where was Grey?
