I sat at my metal desk, my eyes tiredly watching my right hand as it skimmed across the blue paper, making the blueprints to my hardest project yet, a humanoid robot with a canine companion. At last, I set down my pencil, and looked over to my trusty sharpener, where a mound of pencil shavings sat. I groaned, and leaned back to stretch my spine, wincing slightly as I stretched a fresh scar, causing it to open up and start bleeding again. Fortunately, I was wearing FirstLife's clothes, as I was too lazy to switch back into my own. Hopefully she won't mind the pencil shavings all over the clothes she uses for killing.
Don't worry, I don't care. The blood will wash it off, anyway. I heard her speak in response to my thoughts. I yawned, and ran a hand (the one that wasn't practically silver from led) through my short, crazy, and spiky black (with gold, brown and white prominent streaks) hair, letting my vibrant green eyes drift over the black, white, and red room. It was fairly plain, with no posters, and only blueprints on a black and grey metal desk. The rest of the people in the base pretty much let me do whatever, besides the times when they need me for experiments or to fight someone.
I heard a knock at my door. Opening it tiredly, I found Quinn, an assistant to the scientists, waiting for me.
"Have you finished with the blueprints, Grey? The scientists are ready." She timidly asked, and I nodded, before picking up the blueprints through the hole in it with my spiked black tail, and handed it to her. We knew this routine well. She would come every day at four, if I was finished I would give her the blueprints, and in a matter of days, she would give it back to me.
"They say that they'll be done in about three weeks, and they'll need you to fight them to make sure that they're strong enough." Quinn added, before closing the door. I pulled off the yellow headband that was around my arm (that only lets me use thunder energy), and allowed my pure golden magic to flow around the room, like water, but airborne.

A couple weeks passed, and I was working on a female robot for fun. I only had parts of it figured out, though. While I was taking a break, there was a knock on my door. I looked at the clock, and seeing that it said four pm, I called out, "It's open!"
Quinn stepped in with blueprints in one hand. I stood up, and questioned,
"Is it ready?" She nodded, and handed me the blueprints, which I tossed onto my bed. I fixed my hoodie quickly, before striding out of the door. "Let's get this show on the road then! C'mon!" And like that, I took off running, breaking the sound barrier quickly.
SMACK! I slammed headfirst into the wall, as I always forgot when to stop. I fell on my butt, rubbing my head for a second, before springing up.
"Okay, I'm ready! Where're (where are) the robots?" I said, jumping from foot to foot. Quinn pointed at the entrance to the arena.
"Why are you always excited to fight robots? And design them?" She asked, one eyebrow raised. I shrugged, walking towards the entrance.
"What can I say? I build robots for fun."
