Mike's POV
The bros and I were at the entrance to a haunted mansion. It was Halloween, so we were checking out every house.
"What's the hold-up, Mike? Chicken?" Josh playfully taunted. I growled and flexed muscles identical to Josh's that I got from the gym and football, then walked up to the mansion. I dunno, but something felt off.
"Hey Josh..."
"Yeah dude?"
"Is it me, or does something feel off?" I cast a glance back, and could've sworn I saw a pair of red eyes watching me.
"Now that you mention it," Jake said, slightly shivering, "something does feel off."FirstLife's POV
I watched the high-schoolers from my 12 year old eyes. It was weird, 'cause Grey is 16. I dunno.
The seven guys trudged up to the mansion, and I jumped in through a window.
"Storm! Storm!" I shouted, running through the halls. Fortunately, no one can hear us unless we want them to. I bursted into her office, and she looked up from her paperwork at me. "We've got people for the harvest!"
She laughed lightly. "I know. There's Mike, Josh, Jake, Drake, Drew, Broderick, and Austin. Mike's the most cautious, Josh is cocky, Jake's arrogant but is willing to listen, Drake's ignorant, Broderick's aloof but violent, and Austin's naïve."
I must've looked surprised, 'cause she grinned. I should've expected no less from the Faceless Storm.
"Can I take them on?" I asked, already giddy with excitement.
"Sure. I have some test subjects, so I'll be fine."
I cheered and did a little happy dance before running off as I heard the door creak open, plans brewing in my head. This was gonna be fun~Austin's POV
Mike pushed open the door slowly, and I heard footsteps running inside. Josh being Josh immediately ran in and called,
"Hello~? Is anyone in here~?" Damnit Josh! As if things couldn't get worse, we heard a sound. But it wasn't what you'd expect.
It was a high pitched scream that was quickly muffled, but it was enough. Ignoring everyone, I pushed past them and sprinted in the direction of the scream. It didn't take long to find the source, and once we did, we were horrified.
Inside the room where the source was was a young girl, around 12, chained to the walls of the place and covered in blood, her eyes almost completely shut. I ran over to check if there was a pulse, and fortunately, there was.
