The Arena. Three went in today, but only one won. Right?
I stepped into the airy arena, my visible violet eye flicking back and forth. My eye scraped across the landscape, looking for this new robot like an eagle searching for prey. I've been in these battles so many times, I couldn't be intimidated by this robot, as he (well, and his canine companion (also robotic)) was designed to be at least somewhat realistic and human. Eventually, my eye fell on the extremely terrifying opponents of mine, and it turned emerald green, like it does when I accept a challenge. I grinned widely, making it look surprisingly sadistic. What did they look like?
The humanoid robot had brown hair with brown eyes. The metal parts of him were varying shades of purple, and the gun attached to his left arm was very obviously visible. Like, seriously, you'd have to be practically blind to notice. The robotic canine looked like a small grey bear of some kind (you think I know? no. be quiet.), and definitely made for both strength and speed.
Once the announcer allowed us to begin fighting, my hands glowed green briefly, and their legs were bound up in thick vines. They got themselves out of it, but I was already upon them. In one quick motion, the humanoid drew a blade, and started to parry my attacks.
As we sparred and fought, I suddenly felt something wrap itself around my legs. I looked down, only to see that while I was sparring with the humanoid, the robotic dog had managed to wrap both of my legs up with some sort of strong cord, and was bringing the cords back to the humanoid. He took that moment to fire a shot at me, sending me over the cliff. Did I mention that I was by a cliff?
I stopped falling when the cords were caught, and lazily hung their before doing a bunch of flips and stunts in mid-air like an experienced gymnast. Let's just say, the look on the humanoid's face when he looked over the edge was pretty hilarious. We talked after the match, and eventually became really good friends.~COMPLETED~
