The Change

I fled from the place as fast as I could, not daring to look back at the group I'd left, when I slammed into something as solid as steel, and fell backwards. I looked up, and saw a green altar, with a woman clothed in green and blue standing on top.
"GUYS!" I yelled behind me, terror evident in my voice. Hatsnii turned around, and gave me a sad look.
"Why are you so scared of me, Blaze? I don't understand it." She spoke, her emerald eyes glimmering with sadness and depression. I crawled away from her, before her voice stopped me.
"You know, I know where your friends are. I can bring you to them, if you join me." She said quietly, her eyes pointed somewhere other than me. I froze. She could lead me to FlyCraft? I stood up slowly, and cocked my head to one side.
'No! She's tricking you! Blaze, you can't listen to her!' A voice wailed in the back of my head, but I pushed it aside. Behind me, everyone burst into the clearing just in time to see me take a step towards her.
"Blaze, what are you doing?! We need to go, NOW!" Taylor yelled in a commanding voice, causing me to look back. Everyone was standing there, looking at me and the OverWorld Civil with wide eyes, scratched, bruised, and bleeding from their fight.
"But... she knows where FlyCraft is." I replied uncertainly. She nodded.
"Blaze, you know in your heart that they've been lying to you from the start. I offer nothing but the truth." Hatsnii said confidently. I found myself drawn in by her voice, full of sadness and sorrow, and I took another step towards her.
"Blaze," I heard an unfamiliar voice behind me, and turned around again. A man with brown hair and brown eyes stood behind the group, and they immediately cleared a path for him. As he walked forwards, I observed that he was wearing a brown t-shirt, blue jeans, brown worn hiking boots, and a tan cape. His tan belt glowed softly, where his emblem was visible.
"You can't go with her. Remember what you promised, so long ago? I heard you at the altar." Khattee said softly. I realized what he was talking about.

'I sat at the edge of the altar (mortals use to speak with Khattee) beside a four year old I would know later as FlyCraft Hacastna. She was busy making a flower crown from the flower garden surrounding it. It had all sort of red and pinks. She finished, held it up with an "aha!" and ran off somewhere. Back then, I was a main bully target, but I didn't care, as long as my friends didn't get hurt from it. I was quietly thinking about things, and watching people play with their friends, kids or pets, when the black haired four year old from earlier came sprinting across the fields. It was a time when some special Advanced Demis were visiting the this Planet, and I couldn't help but sense some magic. The blackette ran until she was right in front of me, then said,
"Here miss. You looked sad, so I made this for you. I had the Sorcerer with No Name enchant this so it would never die." She said cheerfully, and I smiled. It was good to know that someone was still looking out for me. She had me lower my head, and put the flower crown on me, like a halo. She then sat by me.
"What's your name?" She asked with that cheerful attitude.
"I'm... Blaze. Blaze Scorch." I said, hesitantly, hoping she wouldn't make fun of me. But she smiled brightly.
"I'm FlyCraft Hacatsna!" She replied happily. "Wanna watch the sunset with me?" I glanced out at the horizon, in surprise and noticed that it was, in fact, almost sunset. How long had I been out here for? I shrugged and nodded, and she stared out at the reds, oranges, and pinks scattering across the sky as she took out a sketchbook, and started to draw. Eventually, she stopped, and showed me the sketch in pencil. It was a drawing of me with the flower crown, with my silhouette against the sunset. To be honest, it looked amazing. I complemented her on it, and we sat in silence for a little bit as she perfected it. Suddenly, she stopped, and looked at me.
"Hey Ms. Blaze?" She asked out of the blue. I blinked in surprise and let my head face her direction, giving her my attention.
"Promise you'll never go to the Side of Chaos?" She questioned.
"Why?" I asked, confused.
"You're too bright to be completely evil. It's like a flame in the dark. That's what attracted me to you." She answered. I smiled.
"Yeah, I promise." But she didn't take any of it, and stuck out her pinkie to make sure that I would promise.'

I suddenly looked at Hatsnii, and backed away.
"I can't. For FlyCraft. I promised." I said, my voice firm. Her eyes turned from green to white.
"Promises were made to be broken." She hissed, as a vine shot from her hand, amd wrapped itself around my torso, jerking me onto the altar. Immediately, white hot pain shot through my head, and I collapsed onto the cold marble, and cried out in pain.
"Hatsnii, what are you doing!" Khattee shouted in a panic. She grinned sadistically.
"It's too late to reverse the process, brother. Have fun!" She proclaimed, then disappeared.
'No no no! This isn't what I wanted!' I thought in a panic, as the pain continued to cover me. I felt like my head- no, my soul was being split in two. Eventually, the pain overwhelmed me, and I blacked out.

3rd Person POV

The girl's body was taken over by a black and gray mist, before an explosion occured, sending the Demis and Civil flying. When the dust finally cleared, Khattee let down the forcefield he had put up last second, and ran into the dust, clearing it away. Where one girl once lay in agony, two girls, almost identical, lay side by side. They groaned, one after another, and sat up.
The first girl had blue eyes with blonde hair and pale skin. She wore a red t-shirt with black leggings and a blue hoodie tied around her waist. She had an orange cape and white sneakers.
The second girl had red eyes with blonde hair and tanned skin. She wore a black shirt with red leggings and a gray hoodie tied around her waist. She had a black cape and red sneakers.
They slowly stood up, and tested out their limbs, examining themselves as they did so. Soon enough, their eyes fell onto each other.
"Are you..." They said in unison. The second girl's voice was slightly lower than the first girls, making them clash. They then procceeded to grin at each other, revealing that girl 2 had sharper teeth that girl 1, then dissappeared. Everyone looked at Khattee for instructions. He was pale, and visibly shaking. He gave Caden a direct look.
"We've got to warn everyone."

Hatsnii's pov

I teleported back to my base, grinning with satisfaction. My green magic swirled around my feet as I swaggered (yes that's actually a verb) towards my room. I plopped on the couch in my bedroom, and flipped on the tv, waiting for reports of a new Spirit. After five minutes, my head zombie poked his head in.
"Hatsnii, there's been reports of like a million fireballs raining down from the sky in various places around the Planet." He said. I snorted.
"Yeah, right. What should I do about it?" I then cast a glance at him, and noticed that his expression was different from what I expected.
"No, seriously, there IS a million fireballs raining down per place." I froze. What the hell? I jumped up, and ran towards my window. Turns out, he was right. There was what looked like a meteor shower outside, but I knew that they were fireballs. I ran towards the door, and kicked it open, speeding outside. There, two blonde girls were standing there, hand in hand.
"Hello Hatsnii." One said, smiling as she closed her blue eyes.
"Do you like what we've done?" The second one asked, grinning as her red eyes glinted in the dim light.
"Who the hell are you?" I snapped impatiently. I wanted to know why they did this to my heritage.
"I'm FireFly." Blue eyes said, placing a hand on her chest as she said so.
"And I'm ShadowFlame, but we were once one being, known as Blaze." Red eyes said, smiling slightly as she tilted her head to one side.
"The process went WRONG?!" I exclaimed, my emerald eyes probably close to coming out of my skull. They shrugged.
"I think that Blaze's will to join the Side of Peace was so strong that she split into two beings, one perfectly chaotic, and one... well, not. But that side couldn't go completely peaceful, as your magic was affecting it, so she went neutral. I'm that neutral side." Firefly explained, twiddling her thumbs.
"Well, too late to do anything about it now." ShadowFlame stated. Oh boy. This is gonna be fun.
