I was dreaming with the others.
Terrain, Jamie, Lincoln, and Rio.
Jamie was only here at what he said was night. Terrain told him when he had to go.
Terrain could talk in here, even though he had no mouth. It was a waking dream that never ended.
Rio mostly kept to himself. Long ago we ran out of things to talk about.
There are others but they don't like us much. They say they'd rather die than stay here with us.
Over time I noticed us change. Grow older. Not to mention the eternal returns of Jamie.
I want to go home. I want my brother.

Lincoln has four brothers. He says their worthless.
They left him alone in a play center when he refused to go. Scared and confused he ran into the mall to find them only to get grabbed and drugged. His newfound abilities allowed him to hear when they returned to the playcenter to find him, than promptly gave up to get ice cream. Since then he's been in the dreaming world.
I was drugged in a similar way. Walking through the mall with my brother we were both grabbed and drugged. They panicked when he started screaming with pain. Then it was just me.
