Clint's pov
"What do you mean he's gone?"
My parents stood awkwardly there. They are slightly scared of me.
"He left a note."
Hand shaking she holds it out to me. I take it and she recoils. I ignore it. The note said simply,
"Dear Family,"
I bugged me that he was so formal.
"I am sorry. You know why I have to leave."
Oh, yeah. But that doesn't mean you should. I'm different and I'm mostly okay with it.
-"Penn"
No no no. How could he do this?
Penn is my little brother. He was named after the guy who founded Pennsylvania or something. He's very smart, but there's a big problem with him running off. When I say little brother I don't mean like one year younger than me I mean he's eight.
Do you know how dangerous this city is? We have supers running rampant for crying out loud!
My mom walks over and puts her hand on my shoulder. I guess she's trying to be comforting but I worry that I might burn her.
I don't the best control over the heat part of my powers.
