I appeared atop the highest building in town and waited for Jamie. I had given him a thirty second head start and yet I still had won.
He said it isn't fair as I can teleport. He can fly so I consider it fair. I couldn't see him. I had a slight suspicion that he had ditched the mask and went for coffee again. I waited on top of this stupid building for three hours before I texted him. I'm not supposed to text him while he's flying because it's a flight hazard or something. I suspected he hates stopping on a building to check his texts. Disadvantages of being to turn your arms into wings I guess.
He was so lame so times. He complains about the mask all the time even though I tell him repeatedly I don't want to let my parents figure out what I do in my free time. It's not like we fight crime or anything yet. My parents would not be happy to find out what I use my powers for. They know I have powers. I just haven't mentioned what I use or don't use them for.
Jamie was really taking his sweet time wasn't he. I got bored of waiting and teleported to an outdoor cafe with a great view of the city's tallest building. I forgot about the mask though so instead of teleporting quietly in, I teleported quietly in and was noticed two seconds later by crazy fangirls who always took pictures of the "towns heroes". Ok just because we have masks and powers we are not heroes.
Yet.
